Re: Boxing prediction challenge: Season 2
Damn... there would have to be a Canelo fight in the last week of the challenge. ;D
Too bad it's not a "wish" challenge. I'd pick Charlo by highlight reel KTFO. (That's not my challenge pick, TIC)!!! :D

Re: Boxing prediction challenge: Season 2
Well... this is the last week of this season's challenge. I may not have time to enter my predictions tomorrow or Friday, so here goes...
Under next season's rules, I'd wait from Primo... but what the hell...
This week's got a lot of fights that could go either way. So I could either catch TIC, or get caught by Big J. Primo is too far out in front, and I'm sorry Master... but you seem to be too far behind. ;D
So without further ado... my picks for this week, where I'll have some commentaries in another nod to Big J. ;D
Chilemba is too slick for Obinna, who has really fought nobodies. (Chilemba by UD)
Rozicki's nothing to write home about (IMO)... but he should outlast Green. (Rozicki by UD)
Riley takes out Quarless, who brings nothing. (Riley by TKO-4)
Opetaia brings it for real. Thompson will be overwhelmed. (Opetaia by TKO-7)
Guler looks slicker than Ibrahim, regardless of having only 3 pro fights. (Guler by UD)
Tough one. I'm sure Gassiev will win. Less sure of the outcome. (Gassiev by TKO-10)
Garcia has the goods, and is a southpaw with power. (Garcia by TKO-8 )
Picking the upset here. Barrios in on the upswing. (Barrios by UD)
Another tough one here. But... (Ramos Jr. by TKO-10)
Geez... do I have to pick this last one?
As much as it pains me to say it... I've always said this was another cherry-pick for Ginger. (Alvarez by TKO-11)

Re: Boxing prediction challenge: Season 2
Obinna Joseph Mathew UD
Ryan Rozicki KO6
Viddal Riley KO8
Jai Opetaia UD
Serhat Guler KO9
Murat Gassiev UD
Elijah Garcia UD
Yordenis Ugas UD
Jesus Alejandro Ramos UD
Saul Alvarez MD

It seems Primo Carnera is trying to wait us all out this final week ;D
I've taken some upsets so you might be safe Titofan :D
Keep the commentary coming
Round 14 picks
Isaac Chilemba UD, Ryan Rozicki SD, Viddal Riley KO9, Jai Opetaia KO9, Rostam Ibrahim UD, Otto Wallin SD, Jose Armando Resendiz UD, Mario Barrios UD, Jesus Alejandro Ramos Jnr. KO10, Jermell Charlo SD
Chilemba’s still good enough to defeat this 35-year-old Nigerian with a padded KO record
I smell some home cooking for Rozicki
Riley looks the goods & Quarless doesn’t have the punch to keep Riley off
If Opetaia can go toe to toe with Briedis for 12 rounds & survive with a broken jaw, I wish Thompson the best of luck
Ibraham has the better ring experience
I’m flipping a coin on Gassiev vs. Wallin. My head says Gassiev, my heart says Wallin
Young Elijah Garcia could the future at 160 but I’m going Resendiz. I’m expecting it to be a crazy hard fight for both of them
Barrios to pull the upset against an old & inactive Ugas
Ramos Jnr. is a beast, Lubin is no joke but over 12 rounds I can't see him outlasting the younger man
‘Mell Charlo to pull off the major upset & shock the boxing world

Yeah... that was terrific. Lots of fun. Thanks TIC, for all the hard work we all know it takes to do this.

Re: Boxing prediction challenge: Season 2
I had a nightmare season 2, everything went wrong. The harder I tried the worse it got.
It just was not meant to be for me to do well.
Now I know how Joe Joyce must have felt.
I will take some time to reflect my mistakes and come back stronger. I will become champion one day.

I don't want to be influenced by you guys
That strategy hasn't been working though
So I might have to start :-X
Thanks TIC for running another season
I didn't get the wooden spoon this time :D
Congratulations to the new champion Primo Carnera
Well played sir
Once you got the lead you never let it up
Excellent job picking all those exact KO's
And also to Titofan
Who had a really strong finish to the season
I could hang with you dude ;)
It appears I'm the underdog king though ;D
Bring on season 3

Seems like the gang's all gonna be here for Season 3. :)
I was lucky enough to have a good week at the end, which enabled me to move up one spot.
One thing for certain. I know more about the most obscure boxers than I ever thought I'd know. ;D

It was a very short fight (1st round KO), but what little I saw of him was impressive. Looks like he has a future in the higher ranks.

Re: Boxing prediction challenge: Season 2
What the fuck nobody told me ANYTHING about a Boxing Prediction Contest what a bunch of wankers, sods and louts, just because I am in Türkiye I have been misinformed/uninformed about said contest and now I will join this fucking thing even though figuratively the Contest is prob like in the 10th round of 12 but I can still win it or at least get a draw with someone @gest12345 or Big J.... I will def whup all you alls.

Hey, no worries bro. ;D I myself didn't join until Season 2. Otherwise I may have cleaned up in Season 1 (hahaha... not really). I'm hanging in there in Season 3... and if nothing else I'm finding out tons about obscure fighters I never knew about. :)
