Batman Rises was very good, Bourne was good too.
I watched Raging Bull again too. Great film, but I laughed a few times with LaMotta's angry scenes. Just silly.

Both show a rotten heart of capital and government. Cancers one and all. It isn't only me.
Anyone seen the Hobbit ?? Any good.
Frankenweenie: Funny stuff...
This Means War: A good chick flick to see with your girl... It has some really funny scenes.
The Campaign: That shit had me rolling... Will & Zack are fucken idiots.
I started watching The Wonder Years on Netflix I'm on Season 4 Episode 1 a fucken classic show and crazy to see how of the kids that came out there went on to other things... Ones that I've noticed thus far; Dustin Diamond, Robin Thicke, Juliet Lewis, Seth Green, Alicia Silverstone, Donte Basco the others I forget the names but remember that skater guy from clueless he comes out as well. I also didn't know that Winnie Cooper & Becky Slater (Kevins 2 "girl interest") are real life sisters... Go figure one white and blonde the other tan with dark hair.
Just watched Goon, the ice hockey film with Stiffler from american pie.
Really quite entertaining, and I think that I've missed my calling. I can't skate for shit but love a good rumble.
Watched Chronicles of Narnia and it was fun to watch it with the kids.:)
Drive (2011) -- perfect harmony of soundtrack and movie... great great movie... loved it!
watched last night oldschool Jackie (non-period piece), Meals on Wheels with Sammo Hung (co-starred and directed) and Yuen Biao... fighting against Keith Vitali and Benny the Jet Urquidez
watched it with Stickgrapplerette #2 and Stickgrappler Jr. they both were ROFLOL... priceless moment of life watching a movie and laughing with them and see them really enjoy young Jackie.
Just seen Men in Black 3. Not as good as the first 2 but I did like the ending. Ted was okay as well; Damn Mila Kunis is hot.
Johnny English reborn. Loved it.
The Hunger Games = fairly decent adaptation of the book, and a fairly interesting take on the Battle Royale format of putting kids into a fixed area, and they aren't allowed out until only one is left alive.
I read the books on the recommendation of a friend, and the books were really enjoyable and really easy to read (should be considering they are aimed at teenagers), and the film does much of the same. Worth watching, though probably not going to be a game changer for anyone.
Boxing day seen the Hobbit, Bilbo short hairy feet, and could be very annoying doe's here remind you
of [Kev] :scratchchin: ;D
Going to go see Django Unchained today:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eUdM9vrCbow
I watched the Bourne Legacy - I dont know why I did it, I knew I was going to be upset by it. To make matters worse they kept refering to Jason Bourne and even showing pictures
The film itself, I couldnt really make head nor tail of it to be honest but I was watching through teary eyes. There gets a point where a film becomes complicated for complicated's sake doesnt there? Its all going on at the same time as the proper Bourne films with the excellent Matt Damon. You've got one mob trying to kill off all the assassins, one mob trying to keep them alive, one 'Super' Assassin in the far east (gets killed by a woman so not sure how Super he was). The new guy had an implant so they could track him, why didnt Bourne? The new guy had to keep popping pills to stay sharpe, Bourne was fine after god knows how long on a boat.
All a bit mental and disjointed.
Ya some people just can't be replaced. And Matt Damon is one of those people.
Man on a ledge - It was OK. Phone Booth meats Inside man but without the inconvenience of a phone booth being out of service. It did have Genesis Rodriguez which is a massive bonus.

The girl with a dragon tattoo, very slow and not that exciting. The girl getting manipulated by her mentor, having a lesbian session and having sex with the man were the good bits of the film.
I watched a bunch of films over the holidays that I've been meaning to watch for ages.
Best of the lot was A Prophet, or Un Prophete. A young French Arab gets sent to prison and gets his shoes stolen on the first day. By the end of the film he's running the prison and has his own crime family on the outside. I watched this film twice and I never watch anything twice except the first two Godfathers. You've seriously got to watch this film if you haven't seen it.
You also need to watch City of God, Death Instinct and the companion film (google Jaques Mesrine films), The Lives of Others, the Baader Meinhoff Complex, Banlieue 13 and the sequel and Gomorra. I've got a bunch more to watch and if and when I get round to it I'll let you know if they're any good. :)
Over the festive period I watched Up, Jumanji, Fantastic Mr Fox, Incredible and Cars.
Just realized I was responding to stickgrappler about the wrong movie. Wasn't referring to Drive(which was good) but Flight.
Just finished watched Django Unchained. Really good movie. Takes the whole human suffering thing a new direction. Speaking of human suffering. Lincoln. Seen that too. Long, much like Django but keeping with the historical relevance of the character, interesting and well-made.
Beasts of the Southern Wild. Life on the fringe of society, on the waters of lower Lousiana. Harsh yet beautiful movie to watch. Is up for a few Academy Awards including best picture, along with the others mentioned in last paragraph.
.
War of the Worlds (Tom Cruise style).
Went to see gangster squad last night pretty good film.defo worth a watch
25th Hour Edward Norton good film.
Joe Kid thank you very much Mr Eastwood.;D
Watched Expendables 1 which was complete and utter nonsense but it was good to catch up on my heroes like Jet Li and Stallone.
DJANGO. Watched it last night at the movies! Bloody brilliant! Tarantino has calmed down a litttle from Kill Bill but still crazy blood and fight scenes!
The Amazing Spider-Man
was good ... better than the first spiderman flick with maguire
Wild Bill, not a bad little Brit flick.:)
Re-watched Killer Inside Me yesterday evening. Odd movie.
Life of Pi
Such a fantastic film.
I was a bit slow on the uptake though. It actually took me 2 days to suddenly get the bit about the Tiger in the Japanese report
watched last night Joseph Gordon Levitt in Premium Rush - he's a nyc bike messenger, one of the best... espouses no brakes cos it will be the death of the rider, he has a special type of bike where it has no brakes and the pedals must keep turning. he has a pickup up at like Columbia University in 119th street or so. Has about 90 mins to deliver to downtown Chinatown. Along the way, he is chased by a police detective who wants as well as cop on bicycle.
Pretty suspenseful movie, watched it with my kids but warning, it was no sex, just like 2 kissing scenes, but plenty of foul language... my kids are old enough and they know some of the words but i try not to let them watch movies like that.
I highly reco this movie!
p.s. after JGL in Inception, huge fan. so I may have been a little biased in this review although i don't think so. think it's a cool story well-done on all fronts.
Looking forward to see Django on Thursday afternoon. Was going to see it a few weeks ago, but snow pretty much shut down most of the area, so I was stuck at home. Tarantino is the fuckin daddy when it comes to making movies. Even Death Proof wasn't a terrible movie, and that is generally the most criticized.
Hostel. And, The 6th Day.
Loved Django Unchained. Really good film, and Christoph Waltz is spectacular. Dicaprio does well too.
SHouldn't have drunk beer beforehand....peed three times during the film.
