Oblivion was surprisingly good.. Anybody whose expecting action is going to be let down but if you are a sci-fi fan, you're going to like it very much.

I was SUPPOSED to watch 'Howling II: Your Sister Is A Werewolf' but the disc Netflix sent was broken so I had to settle for streaming 'Sleepaway Camp II: Unhappy Campers' ....I must say the Sleepaway Camp trilogy (I haven't seen 3 yet) is pretty entertaining for what it is. It has an original envelope pushing plot and you can tell the actors had fun making the movies as well as the director and the make up & special effects people. All in all they're pretty awesome "bad" movies, I recommend them given you're in to watching movies like that.
There's a special awesomely bad movie niche and I just love them
Im just leaving greenwich cinema with wifey after watching "2 guns".
I wont spoil it for anyone but imho this ranks alongside taken 2 in the multitude of films i have seen in my life.
Could be good or bad.
Your call.
This movie isnt known in the states but u guys need to check out " Brotherhood of the wolf ".. it's the best french action movie ive ever seen..
This past weekend I was feeling sick, and there was shit to do, and shit on TV, so it was hit up the dvd collection time. I like doing blind picks sometimes, where I'll just run my finger up the rows of dvd's, and where it stops, is what I'll watch. So this was my viewing this weekend.
Snatch
The Assassination of Jesse James by the coward Robert Ford
Blazing Saddles
True Romance
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
Dawn of the Dead (original version)
Better Off Dead
Oh, and two weeks ago, me and my son went and seen The World's End. It was good for a laugh, but Shaun of the Dead is still my favorite with the pairing of Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.
Watched the children’s classic film Borrowers, they enjoyed it.
Howling II: Your Sister Is A Werewolf & Howling III: Marsupials......WHHHHHAT?!?!?!
Wolf porn THEN Kangaroo porn :shakehead: those are some crazy ass movies!
World War Z - as someone that prefers plot/story over action I really liked it. Normally these movies, about the end of the world, are full of obvious shit and stupid characters making stupid decisions, which I thought this would be. However, it was more of a "real" zombie film (what a stupid thing to say :D)
Me and my son went to go see that about a month ago. We both liked it as well. I'm sure that there were some who were disappointed that there wasn't more gore, being a zombie flick and all, but I know they were trying to appeal to a wider audience with a pg-13 rating. I liked it, but the ending was a little lackluster for me, but I guess they left it open if they decide to do a sequel.
BTW, was it actually rabies then that started it all? I don't think that they gave a definite answer as to how it started. Maybe I missed it, I don't know.
The teeth chatter made my son laugh every time.

I hope that wasn't a spoiler coz I ant seen it yet
I watched dark skys the other night, seen that?
its mint
Sorry that is a bit of a spoiler.
I watched a bit of the film about 'Mr Nice' with that Welsh fella Rhys summit who was the spit of Howard Marks and a great actor. I had to watch it with virtually no sound because the Mrs was asleep and we were in bed. It was the middle bit. Looked good. I will try to remember to watch it when I am bed ridden in an old people's home. If I make it that far.
I finally saw 'Klitschko' it was an interesting documentary and quite well done. I think it shows the class of Chris Byrd, Lamon Brewster, and Lennox Lewis to all appear and be honest about their fights with the brothers. It did offer great insight to the different characters of the brothers and how they became who they are today. Vitali the protector, and Wladimir the prodigy...I think the movie showed aside of their hard work and dedication what makes them has made them great champions.
Right now I'm trying to get things ready for my Halloween scary movie marathon...yes I'm already starting and I am that excited about it.
Pain and gain was a great movie!! I suggest watching it.. 10/10
The new great gatsby was sorta like the old one, 7/10
Watched NEDS about Scottish gangs in the 80’s which was a good watch.
Did not like Max Payne.
Max Payne sucked..
Im definitely interested in NEDS..

Watched Conan the Barbarian which was crap, how they made it a movie I do not know.
Frankenstein Island and Shark Attack 3: Megladon ....both were silly movies not really even B movies. Shark Attack 3 had some of the WORST "special effects" I have ever seen.
I have The Island of Dr. Moreau coming next
Watched employee of the month, it was funny and Jessica is very fit.
Watched The Lovely Bones which was a sad, wonderful and beautiful film.
Had time finally to watch 2 movies, in what was ages after watching my last movie.
Watched a Hong Kong movie, Blind Detective (2013)and The Lone Ranger from Disney with Johnny Depp
Blind Detective is sort of a sequel to director Johnnie To's Mad Detective (2007) - the only similarities are that both movies feature a very good detective. To directed the duo of leading man Andy Lau (mega superstar in Asia) and leading lady Sammi Cheng for the 3rd time. The previous movies were commercial successes. To wanted to work with the pair again. BD is a comedy/crime drama. I misinterpretted the trailer and thought it was a serious crime drama. I preferred the superiour Mad Detective over BD, but BD had its moments. If you are any fan of Lau/Cheng/To, you probably will watch BD regardless of what i say. But if you aren't a fan, you can pass on this. Although if you have time, i recommend you check it out. I liked it despite what it may sound from my mini-review. It's just that I expected something else given the previous To effort in the "zzz Detective" series. If you only have time for one movie and haven't seen it yet, Mad Detective is a must see. It will challenge the viewer, it's not easy to get through, but i feel the movie will unfold with some surprises that will reward your viewing experience. It totally mindfragged me and i loved it!
The Lone Ranger - heard it got bad reviews and may not have done well at the box office. it was roughly 2 hrs and 30 mins long - about 30-45 mins too long IMO. it was entertaining in points, but it was no Pirates of the Carribean. my kids enjoyed it overall (15, 12, and 10). i liked it, but not enough to reco it as a 'go watch this'... it's a 'pick 'em' for me.
Evil Dead (1981) - Solid flick...I could see how in the 80's when I was growing up I could have been frightened by the effects in that movie. Looking at it now it's just silly.
Evil Dead 2 (1987) - I haven't gotten all the way through it yet, but will by the end of the day. It causes some continuity issues when paired with Evil Dead, but it's a solid movie.
I can't believe it took me so long to watch those movies...I guess I was just never really into horror as a genre, and to this day I'm not terribly fond of it as it's difficult for me to get enjoyment out of those movies if I'm watching them by myself, I'd much rather watch something else.
FYI from watching Room 237 about Kubrick's The Shining, I learned Kubrick was going to make a movie about the Holocaust but ended up not doing it due to Spielberg doing 'Schindler's List'. I often wonder about what movies, what genre's Kubrick could have done and improved. I think he would have been great if he was given something like 'American Psycho' or 'Saw' or 'Saving Private Ryan' or 'The Lord of the Rings' or 'Game of Thrones' ....Kubrick was a genius
I watched eraser head, what can be said about that movie. David Lynch must have been doing LSD.
I also watched gone with wind a week or so ago. Damn what a massive movie. Years ahead of its time. I usually don't like any romance based movies but Gone had so much too it I found it amazing.
I saw Gravity on 3d and it was the best space movie ive ever seen. It was intense.
I watched the Passionate Plumber again. Some laughs were therel
Finally watched Shutter Island last night after hearing I should, thought it was a terrific movie. Best thriller/suspense film I've seen since Mystic River. Huge Hitchcock vibes, great plot, really clever mindfuck of a movie that makes you really watch.
Watched A Dangerous Method tonight. It was okay.
I watched Planes , Trains and Automobiles for about the 20th time , still makes me laugh.
Watched Four Lions very funny, they should make a sequel
