But one thing that is important is that we keep our differences and challenges on the boards hidden against the guests and newbs... I agree we have a stellar reputation to uphold and Saddo and the Mods to a superb job...
I have taken a run at quite a few so I dont proclaim innocence, but I wont fire on someone on the main board unless they start shiit 1st, but out of respect I wont beef with a senior or respected nmember unless its hidden away from guests and visitors  ;)

I like the size of this place, it accomodates a myriad of personalities, we normally dont cross paths and run in the same circle but dosent mean we cant be pleasent and respectful in agreement or disagreement... This place can teach you a whole lot about life and dealing with people if you really pay attention sometimes, and I think that is awesome ;)

Hold up, mate, I don't take VD seriously, have never setout to provoke him and there's no ill feeling or problem between him and me...not from my side, anyway.
People percieve it that way cos on the couple of occasions he tried it I slapped the piss out of him. ;D
Anyway, this little ban will do him good, it'll give him time to catch up on his school work instead of spending all day on Saddos pretending to be a big bad gangster.

I dont see the big deal. He is gone for several days and is encouraged to sharpen up some respect for others and tone down his language.
All being good he will come back further aware of just what is okay on the main board.
VD, will be back. Its no big deal and wasnt arbitrary anyways.

Was a long tim ago, i was like 6 months or more outta saddos so a long time! Dont spect ya to remember but the point remains, none of the main posters get insulted or aim to insult.

Is it really that hard for some people to admit there wrong? Or is it because of certain feelings to an individual that they don\'t do it. From what I read, Violent Demise ban was due to him defending himself against (or attacking) a new poster. When it was revealed that the poster was not new, his ban should of been lifted. But it wasn\'t. Why? Because of personal feelings. I just read one mod saying he dislikes the guy and another attacking the way he grew up. For a mod, shouldn\'t personal feelings not factor in decisions? I understand Violent Demise style doesn\'t agree with every one. But when one is constantly attacked for the way he grew up, especially by Mods. Isn\'t that provoking the individual? I taught Mods were suppose to put out fires not start them.

It wasn't that we tried to use big words. I can assure you that Terry's grasp of the English langauge is not nearly as great as he thinks it is. We were just showing Terry Nutface that we can use big words. However, there really is not a real need for them on a boxing forum. Terry is an ass. This is no secret. Go through his posts and look at what he tells people. He is rude, just in a much more subtle, condenscending way that he hopes forum posters won't understand......WHICH IS MUCH MORE RUDE. I can show open hostility for Terry and hop everyone else will do the same.

Can't join you in your hostility quest. I applaud someone who chooses to attack in the subtle way that he does, it shows he has more of a command of the English language than just resorting to using a bunch of dirty words to get his point across.
If he says something that pisses you off then debate him. If you aren't smart enough to catch what he said then the rest of us get to laugh at you. Obviously Booze, you showed you could hang with him word for word so you will be one of the ones who can call him out when he is full of s**t. I come here to post in a friendly atmosphere, yes I get heated and talk smack if I have to but I don't have to burst on the scene with garbage mouth either. I've read some of TN's posts and some of the time they are only mildly offensive, at least one of them is quite insightful and a couple of them are downright funny. I'd say he's about on par with others as far as pissing people off or getting a nod and a wink.
VD was way out of line on this one and trust me, If that was the first set of posts I read as a guest, I might not have become a member at all. Who the hell wants to be attacked that way?
