I am so happy Mizzou lost, most overated team the last two years in CFB
Re: College Football thread
Handful of upsets today...
USC should go up to #4 or 5...
Re: College Football thread
I'm glad Mizzou lost too. I know its pretty effective but I'm getting sick of these spread offenses, especially the spread option stuff, the West Virginia stuff.
Texas-OU was fun.
And Florida's speed on offense is scary. I'd hate to play them in the SEC championship, they're fast enough on grass, hate to see them in a dome.
Re: College Football thread
Can't believe I forgot to mention how bad Auburn sucks
Re: College Football thread
Spread offenses are fine for Pac 10, ACC, Big East, seeing them in the power conferences is just weird. Auburn in the spread? That boggles the mind. I would think Tommy Tubberville would be rolling in his grave but he's still alive, and he's the coach. It's just weird I didn't know until the LSU game that they were in the spread.
Percy Harvin is the man.
Texas-OU was awesome, really awesome. A tiny bit anticlimactic but that was a great game maybe the best I've seen this year college or otherwise.
Cal has Arizona, Best might be back which is absolutely crazy if true. I thought it was a season ender I mean it was brutal.

Vereen has been great when it's time to spell Best, Cal has a great backfield and this is after Montgomery transferred out (where is he now), Tedford is one of the best recruiters in the land, too bad he does not have the same coaching skills

And your #3 team in the nation issssssssssss......................
PENN STATE
Re: College Football thread
I hate when teams like Hawiaa, Boise St, BYU, etc make the BCS. I know that they should have as much rights as the next team but usually a good team gets screwed out of going to a major bowl because of that. Their schedules are alot softer than the major bowl conferences

Apparently Utah (UTAH ) got a number one vote from somebody in one of the polls, the Harris poll or something like that. I am confused.

Santa Clause has given us a early gift. TCU is up by 25 on BYU and it's the start of the 4th quarter. I am glad we don't have to see these bums play in the BCS this year, cheers to TCU
Re: College Football thread
But Boise State beat Oklahoma and I think it was Pitt that Utah beat, big schools, especially Oklahoma. The best teams should be playing imo, if you go undefeated I think you should probably fit somewhere into that top 8 especially if no team has only 1 loss.
