I hope he is, I know I am. At least I can respect Lyle, even when I disagree with him.
Again so I can have ounce of respect for you, your Colleges name again,I asked that reasonably so,many moons ago,and I still havent recieved an awnser
Don't think your respect means much at this point. You already know the textbooks he was taught from, just go off that.

Well,I wasnt there, but reliable sources inform me moisture might have been involved
Aren't you the one making baseless assertions about people he has never met? Earlier in this thread did you not bring up people which were not alive in your lifetime (unless you are the oldest man in documented history)?
You sir are a farce.
Tell me more about my professors, who you don't know. Tell me more about my school, which you are unable to name. Tell me more about myself, who you don't know.
I thought you were supposed to tell me,oddly enough, there is more then one college in British Columbia, going through the history departments of 30 different universities might take a little while.I thought you could narrow it down a wee bit, since your so convinced of the godlike infallibility of your Profs,Im sure they could bear a little scrutiny
I never once said they were godlike or infallible. In fact, I specifically mentioned that I have had profs who stated their own bias (left-wing, liberal, socialist) before attempting to give an objective view of the facts. However, I will always take the words of a professional over those of a deluded idiot who claims to be a boxing trainer. Me accepting your views on history would be like one of your boxers listening to them in regards to training advice and fight planning.
Why should I narrow it down for you when you have been telling me for pages that you know what their views are, that doesn't make any sense. You should know, or are you going to come to terms with the fact that you have no idea what their views are, aside from what I've already told you and that you are nothing more than a blusterous, verbose clown.

I'm not concerned with having your respect, I will be content knowing that you are not a product of my country's educational system.
You only asked for the name when I requested that you prove some of the things you were claiming.

Hey you probably think of Fredrick Douglas(if you do think of Fredrick Douglas at all,not a mean thing, but how many people think of Fredrick Douglas?) as a staunch unionist
He was also one of the most vehement Pro-Slavery Presidents the nation ever had,but you wouldnt know that if you read a history book printed later then 1911.
It got scrubbed out
That's you telling CFH what he learned. That is the point he's been trying to make since like page 2 and now you are asking for his professors when you calim to already know the text by which he was taught. This should be the end of the thread.
I will probably post again. I don't agree with everything CFH said. I think that politics do cater to big business but at the same time, Obama has made most of his campaign cash from small donors. I think policies are the most important thing in politics which makes the democrats the waaayyy lesser of two evils. Still, TM you are ridiculous.
Again,I asked politely for his Prof's names so I could parse their position papers for myself,if he wishes to view his Prof's as god descended from Valhalla,he certainly wouldnt mind me viewing their position papers.Heck youd think he'd welcome sharing such wisdom descended from on high

I politely asked for the names to see if I was indeed wrong, and if I had been intended to apologize for assuming.
Again please provide a name so I can parse for myself, and not assume Jehovah is teaching in British Columbia

Re: Interested In Lyle's Opinion of Sarah Palin
And for the record, I never once sang the praises of any of my profs beyond saying that they know more about history than you do and that they try to be objective.

No,I know where most textbooks are published.
Maybe you have a good prof who finds ways to circumvent the system
And without his name,I have no way of making up my own mind on that subject.
What are you afraid of

Nice back-peddling.
I do not care what your opinion is on the qualifications of the people employed by the university I attend. Individuals much more knowledgeable about such matters than either of us have already made that decision.

And I never sang my own praises but for saying,I highly doubt that
See,history is a wee bit of a passion of mine.
I can tell you were the Knights Templar fell to the Mongols(Krakow Poland)
I can tell you the last year of the roman Empire (479 that is Western, not Eastern which would become the Holy Roman Empire)
I can tell you who opened fire on the Ludlow Miners Camp(US National Guard and Pinkertons)
As I said,it is a wee bit of a passion for me,and I dont like seeing it fixed or sanitized for your protection

Again, since thats what I originally asked for,why cant you give me their names so I can check their opinion papers?

:rotflmao:
Wow, you sir are a vast repository of historical knowledge. I shall never question you again.
Re: Interested In Lyle's Opinion of Sarah Palin

Because you have already proven your opinion to be worthless. Repeatedly.
Why should I care what you think about them? Are you some arbiter of intellectuals? What have you done that qualifies you to pass judgment on them? Those questions where rhetorical by the way.
