I see Pac winning this fight and potentially winning it easily. No disrespect to Hatton, he has a great spirit and fun style to watch, but even with Floyd snr. in his corner he is too limited a fighter...come forward and unload. Also, I feel Hatton has reached and passed his physical peak. His notorious balloning of weight between fights combined with all the wear and tear for a fighter with his style...are going to catch up with him. Speed and skill will almost always kill power and aggression...and Pac has plenty of speed and continuing to improve his skills. The fight certainly will have exciting moments...both fighters like to go toe to toe...but ultimately Pac has more in his arsenal (both skill wise and strategy wise) than Hatton.

I'm no Manny fan, I want Hatton to win by KO, maybe only to shut the 'Tszyu was old' people up.
Thing is, Manny has improved a lot in his last few fights and although he may be a bit smaller, he hits very hard and his speed is first rate.
It's gonna be very exiting I reckon and no matter what anyone says.........the outcome is totally unpredictable.

One thing is guaranteed... it will be an exciting fight while it last... 12 rounds or fewer than 12 rounds of exciting battle inside the ring... ;)

Theres only 1 thing wed need to know to make real educated opinions of the outcome of this fight. Can Pacquiao really carry all his skill, power and speed up to lightwelter and make it look like hes a natural at that weight.
IF, he can turn up with all his talents then hes guna be too good for Rickie, after all he is P4P king for a reason. He is superior to Hatton in most ways.
But if he cant bring all his quality with him, which i doubt he can, then Hattons just guna bully him into submission. hes guna relentlessly beat him in the corners, beat him against the ropes, punch him on the way in, tie him up and beat him where he stands until he can take no more.
We should of found out just how much Pacman can bring with him against DLH but Oscar didnt really turn up that night, so as good as he looked he wasnt fightin a natural and fit welter that night, just an olld drained man who couldnt fight back.

It may be... I was impressed how well Pacman moved up in weight. His body looked solid and not fatty as I originally thought. Hatton will have a tough opponent in front of him. If Pacman make damage with his left hand early, then Hatton might be badly beaten, but I expect a very competitive fight.

May 2nd will be hattons defining moment im becoming more and more confident about that with every press article i read or old hatton/pac fights i watch.
Inside the ring rickys gonna do the business on manny and a packed house inside the MGM with what i expect will be at least 80% (including myself) englishmen over for the fight will make sure ricky has all the support and encouragement he needs.
Just to throw it out there manny pacquiao would never of experienced the hostile reception he`ll get when he enters the ring and it could just be a factor in deciding the outcome of this one. Sure there will be thousands of fillipinos in vegas on the night and many with tickets.
But hatton-mania has brits paying top dollar to get a seat inside the arena and i even know a couple of guys who`ll be flying over on the night without tickets that`ll be willing to pay just about anything to get in on the night!
Ive nothing but respect for manny pacquiao and when its all said and done and pacquiaos record moves to 48-4 i`ll be able to support the guy once again. But will do my upmost on the night as will many to put him off yet that wont involve any sick booing of national anthems!!

I had a dream last night. Pac man floored Hatton with his very first two punches (jab, cross) and Hatton got up at 7. Then they both proceeded to go to absolute WAR for the next 30 seconds before Hatton floored Pac Man with a uppercut (odd punch for Hatton...) and pac man was down and out, all this happened in the first round. The crowd then proceeded to chant the loudest chants I have EVER heard and for some reason the commentators joined in... it was a pretty cool dream.
I think that will largely tell the story of the fight, believe it or not.. only over more rounds. I think pac man will have alot of success in the early rounds and even floor him then Ricky will ultimately wear him down and brutally beat him down.
