Re: True Blood Season Two **SPOILERS**
Once again I want to say what I think before reading the thread.
Last nights episode made me angry.
Why the hell did they send Sookie into danger if it was that easy for them to raid the place? How did dude sneak up on a bunch of elder vampires with silver under his coat?
Also, Godric is full of it. He snapped that dudes neck that same night and Sookie watched him do it...

Some good points BG.
I too agree with you that Godric is going to turn out to be Satan incarnate.
It's also strange that Luke was able to bypass the vampires ordinarily super senses and just wonder into their nest undetected.
But I'm wondering if he was undetected after all?
I have no doubt Godric knew and allowed him in, and no doubt it will likely be him who prevents tragedy at the beginning of the next episode.
It's going to be interesting.
One thing I will say though is that this series so far has been brilliant, I literally can't wait for the next episode a feeling I've not had since the first season of Lost or the end of Seasons 1 and 2 of Dexter.
It's gripping stuff with so many mysteries to unravel.
Re: True Blood Season Two **SPOILERS**
Okay, I just now watched it, just a few quick tidbits, I'll post more thoughts later, because I have to get to bed. :cwm33:
Bilbo, Mike sodomized a pine tree, not a pineapple tree. ;D
I laughed my ass off when Sara shot Jason in the nuts, and when Jason shot Rev. Newland in the forehead, and called him a fuckwad. ;D
Jessica was annoying as $hit at first, but now I love her character, especially with Hoyt.
Season finale is September 10th, and the 3rd season won't start until next summer.
In real life, Sookie and Bill just got engaged.
They are also coming out with a True Blood drink, just before the finale. I guess it's a blood orange soda.

yesss. i saw the drink.. right now i believe it can only be pre-ordered from the HBO official website for $16 for a 4 pack.. ridiculous.. plus shipping.. i'll wait for it to hit stores and buy a bunch to mix with some adult bevs.. they have already named the vodka + Tru Blood as a FangBanger.. love it!

They knew they could have raided the place to begin with. They sent Sookie to make sure that Godric was there and then they would have
acted. If you remember, Eric said to one of the guy vampires after he was pissed at him, that he could just go there and kill everyone and that he didn't care anymore cause he just wanted Godric back.

So what's your thoughts on how they got Godric in the first place RP?
Seeing how inept the fellowship was, and considering Godric was extremely powerful even by vampire standards it seems inconceivable to me that they could have captured him without his cooperation.
What did that guy mean before Godric snapped his neck when he said 'Godric its me'?
That sounded like he was his friend or ally in some sense, a long way from his captor.
It's strange, I think Godric is obviously going to become a major player from now on in the story.
As we are yet to see how Maryanne is related to the vampires I'm guessing their plot lines will converge at some point.....
Re: True Blood Season Two **SPOILERS**
Okay, just out of curiosity, I looked up what the name Godric means, and I had seen a couple definitions.
Rules with God
God Ruler
Strong God
Power of God
Just a thought, maybe Godric glamoured Gabe at one point, leading him to believe that Godric would never hurt him.

I would agree that they didn't capture him and that he possibly went there for som reason or another.. to make peace would be the most obvious, but we know that that whole idea is up in the air.
and, i don't know what the whole "godric, it's me" thing was with gabe, but it wasn't like he was in a fit of rage. he snapped his neck, looked at sookie and said, you shouldn't have come here.. he wasn't going to harm sookie.. and i really just think that he killed gabe because of gabes actions towards sookie.
I see the Godric story very black and white, and i believe that he is good and a peacemaker.. while i wouldn't be surprised otherwise, thats just my stand on it.
Eric and co. didn't know that Godric was there unharmed or uncaptured, so they acted as if he was captured and sent the humans in to investigate and not cause any trouble. Sookie read Steve's mind and knew that they had a vampire there, and she wanted to leave the church ASAP to tell Eric. At that point they would have raided the church to get him out.

That to me is why I think he's evil!
We've seen Bill kill before, he murdered Sookie's uncle for having innapropriate thoughts about her (not sure he actually abused her) and it because he was in a rage.
Rage killing are understandable, if he killed him because he was so disgusted that he was trying to rape Sookie.
But it didn't come across that way to me. I got the feeling he was killing that guy simply because he had finished with him. There was no hint of rage or fury over what he had just done to Sookie, instead it was as if he snapped his neck and dropped him in the corner simply because he was no longer interested in him and instead more curious in Sookie.
I'm wondering if his holier than thou persona is actually to fool Sookie into trusting him, presumably she is the central character of the whole show.
I think he has higher ambitions, loftier goals. Maybe he wants to even BECOME God?
Diane maybe be along the right lines and that a clue is in his name......
But I don't trust him, I think he's going to be on some kind of colossal power trip and ultimately will end up being killed by God or Jesus Himself in some kind of apocolyptic finale.

Maybe he wants to BECOME God?!
WTF bilbo?!
maybe he will be killed by God or Jesus himself?!!
i can't tell if you're kidding or not, DAMNIT.
This is a story of vampires.. I don't see Jesus making any appearances.
and a vampire wanting to become god? i don't know what that means.. they're already immortal with a few exceptions and godric may as well already be the most powerful/eldest vampire, so i don't see what you're getting at.
as i said, i wouldn't be surprised if he turned out to be evil because the story has been full of twists, but i thikn you're blowing this way out of the storyline.

He's been around for longer than Jesus Christ and is practically immortal, of course he's likely to have some kind of ego.
Religion seems to play a big part in these shows and Maryanne has already been linked to Satan. I think it's not inconcievable he wants to be more than just a vampire......
Re: True Blood Season Two **SPOILERS**
I just googled Godric on wikipedia.
Let's just say I was right about one statement I made in this thread, but not a good one. Damn :-X

Why would you want to spoil it for yourself? :dontknow:
I made sure that when I Googled to find the meaning of Godric's name, I worded it, so that I didn't see any spoilers.
Re: True Blood Season Two **SPOILERS**
Do you guys think anyone died in that bomb? lik any main characters?
I think Godric died or something...
I watch the show 2!:cool::p
Re: True Blood Season Two **SPOILERS**
There is no way I'm drinking this True Blood stuff. Who knows what some crazy could put in it during processing.
