Re: Gatti's death ruled a suicide; wife has been released
Jesus, it's going to be awhile before the 2nd results come out.
The wife is now thinking of suing the Brazilian police, and is now trying to claim that she wasn't a stripper.

Re: Gatti's death ruled a suicide; wife has been released
What bothers me about this entire ordeal is that the wife is now suing the Brazilian gov. for $1m...the same amount she lost on the life insurance when Mr. Gatti's death was ruled as a "suicide" in Brazil. Then she came out of jail smiling ear-to-ear, with body-language indicating she was hiding something. She apparently had someone assist with her writing her "story" for the paper, as no one with an attorney would submit anything in writing without editing. She may have been provided with a "story", then instructed to write it in her own words. Now if she openly stated she was suing for the $1m and was donating it to charity, my eyebrows would be less raised. Brazil is notorious for "cash-for-freedom". Am concerned about the wife's claims regarding Mr Gatti's family allegedly not participating in his life, but want the money. But having dealt with family after the death of a relative...they come out of the woodwork if they believe they can gain a buck. Have seen people exhibit zero "symptoms" of suicidal ideations before acting on the deed. Perhaps someone can educate me, but I understood Catholics who commit suicide cannot have a mass, or is that merely a mass in a church? The entire situation stinks and all funds should be held until the facts are proven.

And now she's suing the state of Pernambucano for her wrongful arrest where they brutally obeyed all logic & evidence, rather than her assertion that it was a mystery killer in the night.
