I'm with Froch on this. He wanted to delay the fight so his fans could get over (Im not actually sure if that should be plural or not) but they insisted it went ahead now and so he made them sort the arrangements.
Fair enough. I would have made them throw in for a sun tan as well, Froch look has the palour of a dead albino who has lived underground his whole life.

Re: Froch stuck in England by Volcanic ash
Ill tell you what, Froch is doing himself no favours by leaving it till Wednesday (tomorrow) to land! That little journey will make him tired, he will have no time to get over it being that hes trying to keep his weight down as well and will end up feeling flat, I bet thats more of Henneseys great advice. When Carl looses, look for him to hook up with Golden boy or Warren, that fat cuunt isnt helping him one bit.
Kessler is Frochs first world rated supermiddle opponent! Having no support from his fans over there and a hostile crowd, together with only a couple of days in the country before the fight is just a recipe for disaster as far as froch is concerned, Kesslers team must be rubbing their hands together over all this;D

Fuck me mate he aint going Vegas lol It is a flight less than one and a half hours hardly gonna take anything out of him :D.
Re: Froch stuck in England by Volcanic ash
Yeah yeah, wait for the craap he says after the fight then;)
Alltogether the travelling time will be about 7 or 8 hours, what with driving to the airport, or airfield, flying in a little slow plane and then driving to the hotel in Denmark from Germany, there will be traffic delays as well and dont forget its Kesslers promoter organising the travel, there will be delays for sure;)

I dunno man, say when he's about to land his team fail to give him a boiled sweet to suck on and as a result his ears pop.
That might knock off his equilibrium for a couple days and he may go into the ring a bit more wobbly than usual.
Anything could happen and it's always a big risk moving your fighter.
Re: Froch stuck in England by Volcanic ash
Yep and the whole time hes going to be piissed off thinking how the fat fuuck hennesey is trying his best to ruin his career and the fact he will have no support there either;D

What the fuck you talking about??? 7 or 8 hours? He is coming from England to Denmark direct, you are bitter as fuck towards Froch, going to Denmark from England on a Wednesday for a fight on the Saturday will leave him tired and no time to recover LMAO.
Takes me more time to get to work everyday you div!

It won't be seven or eight hours, it'll be one and a bit with zero check in time. The drive from the Danish airport or northern Germany to Herning will take longer but Froch was always going to have to drive that distance anyway. And the flight will be closer to $10 000 than $100 000, that's just the promoter being a promoter.
For somebody who's always telling us how hard he is and how he's even gone into fights with broken ribs he should be able to handle one hour in a private jet and a few hours in the back of a nice car.
Re: Froch stuck in England by Volcanic ash
Yes, 7 or 8 hours travelling time I reckon, thats from leaving his base to getting to his Denmark base!
Skel, your not a world rated athlete whos trying to stay sharp and is dehydrated and on the eve of your biggest and hardest ever fight with no fans to cheer you on;) Its going to affect him and like I said, the driver from Germany to Denmark is working for Sauerland, so expect delays;D

I think it is fair to say that the traffic delays (outside, possibly, in the airspace) will be minimal. They won't be driving in big cities anyway. Depending on where they land, it will be a 1-3 hours drive to Herning (I don't think the airspace is open yet in the closest airports, so they might have to come from Germany).
Sure, if he was fighting tonight that would be a major disadvantage. But he has three days to get over it, so it really, really shouldn't mean much. Anyway, the hassle and time isnt much worse than if he had to get from Nottingham to, say, Cardiff - and nobody would even come close to use it as an excuse then.

I'm absolutely with you on that one Skel, makes me boil inside just thinking about it these days. I just hope John is sticking in there and keeping focused that he will get his opportunity.
Re: Froch stuck in England by Volcanic ash
Apparently Froch is there now.
"Froch arrived in Denmark on Wednesday, though his schedule is pretty tough. Having flown in from East Midlands Airport, he will go straight to a news conference at the Messecenter in Herning, and in all likelihood spend a couple of hours answering questions about how he can cope with the fight against Kessler given the confusion, re-arrangements and uncertainty of the past few days."
