Kirkland Vs Alvarez would be a war.

Definitely Saul should stay away from the likes of Kirkland, Angulo, Berto and maybe even Margarito at this stage. How Hatton survived definitely leaves me dumbfounded:-\
No maybe with Margarito. Margarito beats him down brutally imo.
I tell you who I'd love to see get a crack at him.
Ishe Smith. He's due a big win imo, and I think he would have a great shot against Alvarez.

Yeah it will be a good comeback fight for Cotto after he loses to Mayorga.

This in a way reminds me of when they HBO put Gamboa in the big show main event Good but talks of 'great' etc are fooking insane

Pretty certain of that eh?
Actually no, because Hatton is going back down to welter, and we know Cotto cant make that weight comfortably.

Not at all. He's fought many top prospects in recent years, and although he's lost the fights they have mostly been debatable and he's finished stronger than all of them.
He put Gurrero down and finished strong, he should have got the decision against Sechew Powell. He was lively against the much bigger Daniel Jacobs fighting at middleweight. He got a great win over the unbeaten Pawel Wolak.
He's been fighting out of his weight class to get the fights, move him back down to 154 and he gives Alvarez a very tough fight.
I guarantee if was a 12 rounder it would be a fight we would all be debating who won. Smith tends to start slow and would lose early rounds, but the second half of the fight he'd pick Alvarez apart imo. Over 10 rounds, Alvarez would win, over 12 I reckon Smith bangs out a decision.

If Hatton wants to move back to 147, how about Cotto-Alvarez?
Who you calling punk you redneck inbred honkey?
Re: Matthew Hatton, let's cheer the 21st century Christian thrown to the lions.
He did well to go the distance, was clearly outclassed but before and during the fight I thought he'd be stopped.
