Hitchens is an atheist and that's one of many things I disagree with him on.
Haye did rattle Wlad there and took him out of his comfort zone. Haye was winding him up, the ref will be counting 10 over you, probably very slowly (because he is in your country). Once he knew Wlad was getting wound up, haye just carried on. I think he will get a lot of confidence from that. Haye actually had a hard on. :)

Even if I take the liberty to paraphrase here, it is insignificant in that Mayorga cared less at that time about the right hand, really. He was obsessed with the hook, especially to the body, and rather amateurishly abandoned completely any plan to use the right, except of course in sparring.

Even the fact that haye did not shake his hand annoyed Wlad. Whilst I agree it makes little difference, I think Haye will gain confidence from that interview.Quote:
