Jesus Christ he would have gotten massacred by Wlad then.

Yeah I thought that too. Just shows how desperate the division is. Wvld must be xesperate for an opponent and I think Haye knows and thats why he is holding out. If the scene is realy that empty then its not unimaginable for Fury to be Wvlads next opponent. I know Tyson wants to defend the belt 3 times so he can keep the belt first but that wont take him long. Becoming a fan of Tyson and think he needs another year to shed the moobs and gut and then he will be a force.
Audley has tweeted saying it was a very low skill level by both but I think either guy on Saturday would blow him away.

price had lots of fights in the ams, fury had 20 or something
id like to see fury v proce in a couple of years
Re: Tyson Fury - Derick Chisora fight thread
I thought Tyson fought well - he's a relative novice with only 15 fights. Talk of facing either of the Klits in the near future should be forgotten.
He's only 22 and the next 4 or five fights and more importantly the opponents in them will be vital - he needs testing a bit more in each one.
I'll be honest though I don't see him ever being a force at world level - I just don't think he has the it in him.

the term is "did ok" not done ok you idiot
Who the fuck do you think you are .wordsworth.
Re: Tyson Fury - Derick Chisora fight thread
Good win for Fury, a few more tough fights will prove if he is legit or not.
Chisora needs to get back to the drawing board and learn from this loss, Fury needs to work on his power.
Re: Tyson Fury - Derick Chisora fight thread
Apparently the viewing figures on Channel 5 for this fight peaked at over 3 million viewers, which is a massive audience share compared to what they normally get. Hope it means we'll be getting more live boxing back on terrestrial TV. Which now I don't have sky anymore is a very good thing.

Re: Tyson Fury - Derick Chisora fight thread
It was a very entertaining fight but both mens levels are way below world level IMO. I think Price is the best of the upcoming Brits and I'd have him to beat both men very easily. Fury looked in the best shape I have seen him in but he was still nowhere near looking like a world class athlete like you need to be to be competitive. As for Chisora I actually fancied him right upto the weigh in, then when I saw what he weighed I knew he would get beaten, he should be ashamed of himself.

of course they are below world level at the minute
they have both had less than 50 fights all together am and pro
how many fighters are at world level with that many fights?
how many fighters are at world level with only 15 pro fights?

I havent seen much of Price but have heard his chin is a bit too delicate for him to be thinking of anything beyond British level;)
Tyson didnt look a puncher but that was more down to inexperience and not giving himself space to throw the punches. One good thing is, both fighters showed they can at least fight for 12 rounds, even if they out of shape and both took some punches.
Also, Tyson fought McDermott after only 9 months as a pro. Price will be fighting McDermott after 2 and a half years as a pro;)

he hasnt got the right hair cut either to go any further than british level
if you look at boxers hair such as miguel cotto and margarito then you will see they have completely different hair styles
furys has a much more reasonable hair doo, theres no way he will make it beyond the domestic schene

Mcdermott beat Fury in the first fight no doubt. We'll be able to compare those fights soon enough.

Thats my point though. Tyson was a complete novice when they fought the first time, hed only had 8 fights and was a pro only 9 months. When he fought him just 6 months later he dropped him 3 times and stopped him.
Its taken Price 2 and a half years to get to the same point. Hes not progressing any where near as fast as Fury.
Re: Tyson Fury - Derick Chisora fight thread
i think the fury mcdermott fight was close too
you probly wont but if you do watch it again there are 3 or 4 rounds where mcdermott doesnt throw a punch
