I've seen it before in Marvis Frazier, Ronald Hearns and the Chavez brothers.
Eubanks are different breed of family. Dad made sure son really had the abilility before he allowed him to step in the ring.
But he lacks one thing and that's managing adversity. He has not had any. Now maybe he does fine. But this is where a lot before him have failed. In their first taste of it. If this was a natural talent contest he'd win hands down. Personally I can see this fight going either way. Jr steps up and shows he's the real deal or he folds after getting hit flush a few times for the first time.
I think the way he dealt with Benn and Watson and also how he has dictated terms to warren goes some way to proving that eubank can take whats thrown at him and turn it around.

I'm edging towards Eubank. But you are right we are all taking stabs really.

That is his dad and not him. One does not gain the ability to manage adversity through osmosis.

The experience and adversity dad has and faced are priceless and he can pass that knowledge to his son. Still no guarantee junior will be a success but it is an advantage.

Yes. I think Chris is brilliant but barmy. Remember what he did at his dads funeral?

I never said his dads wisdom is not valuable. Of course it is but it can also go extreme the other way when a father starts reliving his own life through his son.
The point I'm making is that you never know how you will deal with adversity until you are in it.

Yes. I was just telling Maxine about that. The steel of the man.

I think his dad is one of the greatest super mids that has ever lived. Cal may have never got past him a couple of years earlier.
This is a real test for his son and I like both him and Saunders. I'm merely saying that this is the kids first real test.

True enough. But I reckon he might have some of those genes.
Although Snr had poverty to fight out of which Jnr doesn't.
