The points taken off makes the draw fair enough.
What round did you start watching in? I agree with commentators getting carried away and a draw is OK but by the end there is no way Perez won it easy.No way.
That first card was inept.

They added up the scorecards wrong.
No judge gave it to Perez. It was 113-113 on two cards so a majority draw. It was announced as 1 judge scoring to Perez but Nelson revealed later in the show that the scorecards were read wrong
Re: Scott Quigg-Kiko/Crolla-Perez --- Saturday/Manchester/Sky Sports. Fact.
WBA have ordered an investigation into the scoring. Crolla won it and won it well from my seat. Gutted as it was clear he won the fight. How anyone had that a draw is beyond me.
Re: Scott Quigg-Kiko/Crolla-Perez --- Saturday/Manchester/Sky Sports. Fact.
Quigg looked really good in taking Kiko out, a excellent performance Kiko was coming forward
like a tank, trying to overwhelm Scott but he saw his opening and it was good night Kiko.
Crolla was a worthy winner, without Prez being deducted 2 point yes a poor result, it was a good
night of boxing regardless of the results.:)
Re: Scott Quigg-Kiko/Crolla-Perez --- Saturday/Manchester/Sky Sports. Fact.
Crolla was unlucky to not get the decision considering the two point deductions. Be surprised if the rematch isn't ordered

The problem with ordering a rematch is Derry Matthews is interim Champion and was promised the winner. The WBA take pride in making a right fucking mess of their ratings.
Re: Scott Quigg-Kiko/Crolla-Perez --- Saturday/Manchester/Sky Sports. Fact.
Oh and I'm pleased that my first bet of the night fucked up, I said Tyrone Nurse would get beat which killed my bet
I had 13 fights and the only 2 that failed was Nurse and Crolla, I would have been fuming if I lost the bet just because of the Crolla fight.

If it wasn't for his story and recovery, I don't think he would have been fighting for a world title. Give him his due, he's made a great comeback, but in terms of longer term prospects Frampton has a lot more to offer on the big stage compared to Crolla.

He had a world title shot before the attack but the attack ruined it. Crolla vs. Abril was supposed to happen on 23rd Jan this year but because he was attacked the fight was cancelled. His shot had nothing to do with the story. Quite frankly, he earned it.
Re: Scott Quigg-Kiko/Crolla-Perez --- Saturday/Manchester/Sky Sports. Fact.
He was radio today and said it was a close fight not a robbery but should have got the decision. He did not want to take a warm up which was offered to him and wants another shot after a rest. Seemed a good bloke on.

But Frampton was in a non title, catchweight fight. I am happy I recorded Frampton and watched Crolla. He kept Perez more than honest throughout and without the massive ego that Frampton and Barry have. Listening an Old Pro like Mcguigan dismiss Quigg, who is already a better fighter than he was, is pretty nauseating to be honest.
