Re: Hearn turns down title shot for AJ???
Bit of a difference fighting in front of a few thousand on Eubank jr's undercard on Spike TV to being part of the headline act at a packed O2 on Sky PPV.
It doesn't matter though, it worked out for the best, obviously Martin for the "world" title is a much, much bigger deal than chinning Hughie.

Just remember what the general concencus was on here for Tyson v Wlad;)
Hughie is not in the class of Tyson.
Not sure about that. I rate Hughie , but he's been in limbo the last couple of years. He needs to move forward and fast.
I didn't like him turning down a title fight because he wanted to have a good Christmas though.
He has to step out of Tyson's shadow and make his own name. I think he's capable.
They are announcing someone today whos apparently in all the bodies rankings.
Ustinov has turned it down. Alexander Ustinov Offered Hughie Fury Bout, Says Hryunov - Boxing News
Re: Hearn turns down title shot for AJ???
Could be Hughie v Joe Parker
Re: Hearn turns down title shot for AJ???
the Ustinov fight was offered knowing he wouldn't take it
id like to see Hughie fight parker, id be as surprised as fuck if he did tho
Re: Hearn turns down title shot for AJ???
If the fighter is in the top 10 of the four alphabets it can't be that hard to work out.
Re: Hearn turns down title shot for AJ???
Unless i'm looking at out-of-date rankings nobody is top 10 ranked by all the gangs.
Carlos Takam, Fatty Ruiz and Parker are in three of them. All good fights. Parker would be terrific, although the most unlikely.

Being ranked doesnt necessarily mean top 10. The belts have top 15 rankngs.
Parker for instance is 15th with one.
It may not be Parker and Peter has made a mistake and not seen all the belts rankings for instance.
If it is Parker its a good fight, Parker is highly touted world wide.
Edit, sorry no he isnt. Its an independant ranking system I saw him ranked 16 not 15.
