Don't know the exactly specifications but I read that the main point is Oscar's stipulation was the small ring.Still won't be enough IMO.

If Oscar is smart,it'll be a small ring,and coupled with this size advantage,the move up in weight and the gloves,he can never be counted out BUT....

I agree with JT,around rounds 5/6,people will realise Floyd is just too dam quick for Oscar.

I hope oscar can pull it off somehow. its going to involve a lot of something i think oscar can truly show in this fight and that is heart! i know the odds are against him in my opinion but if he can bring something from deep down im hoping for the win for him. lets just hope he can do it !!!!!!

We are talking about Floyd mayweather who ran from Baldomir and any decent opponents since Castillo V Oscar who fought, Trinidad, Mosely, Quartey, Hopkins, Vargas, Whitaker and alot of other names who were a little worn by the time beat them, thats a good list, Floyd cant match that.

Win or lose apart from Hopkins ::** Oscar has always fought on at least level terms, Floyds best win came against Castillo ???

Oscar wouldn't have taken the fight if he didn't think he could handle Floyd's speed (and lack of power ;D).

I thought he should steamroll Floyd in the first couple of rounds and then settle back behind the jab, but I think the opposite could work too. If comes out guns blazing and is unsuccessful then he has quickened the time it will take for Floyd to figure him out and find a rhythm.

Oscar might be better served controlling the tempo with his jab early on and steal rounds with a flurry in the last 30 seconds ala Ray Leonard. Floyd isn't going to swap punches when Oscar comes in both hands swinging and like someone said earlier the judges won't care if the majority of punches don't even land. (I could be quoting Wacko?)

Let me say this...Hairdoo...YES...you can bet your ass that the judges will be scoring on Oscar's aggression.

I think that Oscar's gonna be all over Floyd. Thing is...Floyd slips & slides an awful lot (slipping & sliding & dodging punches...you know, what Floyd haters tend to call running) & his movement is likely to hender Oscar after Floyd tastes his power.

We could have a contro-decision on our hands in the end.

i cannot wait!!!!!!!!............. but i am a little nervouse cuz in this fight floyd doesnt get what he wants its all to delahoyas standards ..... usally floyd picks the gloves,the ring size ...... in this case delahoya is callin the shots and not only that iam sure the judges will be on his side ($$$$$) and i heard delahoya pikced a smaller ring size (not good for floyd) small reyes gloves (not good for floyd)

and floyds father left the camp and....... mosely sparring with delahoya i dont think he should have an excuse for lossing unless its "floyds a hella of a fighter " ..cuz if he wins under these conditions then floyd def deserves his props ...

Totally...well almost totally agree.

The only people to flush check Floyd's chin have been Corley, Castillo, & Judah & he held up pretty well there...the only thing that has me worried is Oscar's size & pressure...if Floyd can negate that...he's got this one in the bag.

I see what you mean...you have strong camps on each side that think their boy is nailed on, and there are floaters like me who bounce back and forth, but either way, the one result I can guarantee at 6am (UK time) is that I will be drunk and glad to be getting to bed. As for the fight, I really hope I can go to bed both entertained and delighted that boxing still has the ability to make me sit on the edge of my seat and yell at the tv. Marquez v Barrera was the first real event fight of the year, and was amazing, but this one will be out of this world if it lives up to the hype.

Floyd can slip & slide all he wants but he still has to throw to win rounds. If he gives Oscar to many rounds early on he will be forced into taking the fight to ODH in the later rounds in which case most people think Floyd will easily seal the victory. My thinking is if Oscar wins the first half of the fight and gets tired ( have you heard the expression "as dangerous as a wounded Lion") he gets to sit back and try and time Floyd coming in with loaded shots.

What ever happens there is guaranteed to be some sort of controversy afterwards.

Agreed. Both men are tip top, IWO.

Seen Oscar several times live in the flesh & honestly...the last bang I saw him in I thought that he won...but he lost to Mosley. Total bullshit call.

If he fights & presses half the way he did against Shane in the second match...Floyd might lose.

Either way...win lose or draw...I'm proud that Floyd has finally landed the match that he's always wanted.

Let me say this...the amount of money & stomach turning agoney I went through to get this ticket...it better not be a piss poor decision because I aint so sure I'd sell me soul twice to make it to the rematch.

It's 11.57 PM here in the UK and I'm doing work,but man,I can't stop thinking about this fight! I have been suckered into it,the promotional tour, the 24/7 show, everything,I've just brought it allllll! I just need this fight to live up to expectations! I want to see Floyd's chin tested especially if this is to be his last fight but I think he wins a comfortable UD.

Oscar has SO many things he needs to change and work on and if he hasn't been able to do it with other world class trainers, I don't see how he will do it. I feel you, the hype behind this fight has reached near climatic proportions for me already! 24/7 in particular has really done it for me...i love the idea and the music from "Gladiator" during the opening only makes it more legendary. I hope I don't prematurely shoot my hype on may 4th and be unable to perform to my full potential on Cinco de mayo. That would be horrible...
