That's how hungry & desperate teams are when they face UNITED.
They know were the best and a win or draw against us means the world to them cause they know were the best. 8)

Re: The Premiership Football thread
Well Liverpool has just got the injury bug going around....Rafa should know better than to put Gerrard at forward, he's better at centermid and he makes everyone else better there too.
If Torres is injured then Voronin or Crouch should be the automatic fill ins for him!
Sissoko and Mascherano shouldn't play at the same time either unless you just want to play defense for the whole match.
All of these things happened vs Blackburn the other day...Rafa needs to get his shit together.
Today's line-up for the Reds: Reina, Arbeloa, Aurelio, Hyypia, Carragher, Mascherano, Gerrard, Benayoun, Riise, Voronin, Crouch. Subs: Martin, Finnan, Kewell, Torres, Babel, Lucas, Kuyt.
Doesn't look like Rafa is going for the W.....I know Torres is a little hurt but having Finnan on the bench is not a good thing.
I think Voronin and Crouch will do well working together

About time he dropped Kuyt,I don't care how hard you work,a strikers primary task is to score goals,Kuyt does not NOT score goals. I also think the new signings have yet to settel,or if they did(because Pool started the season well) Benitez messed up the rythm of the team with his constant tinkering. How much more money does this guy need>?
I'd also like to add that Tottenham, the team and their entire hierarchy need to be sacked. Robbie Keane has scored something like 24 goals in his last 31 games and he does not start regularly. How stupid. And why sign Darren Bent, for a ridiculously over inflated fee when you could improve in other areas? You alreay had 3 strikers, world class. Oh yeah,Berbatov is a little whiny bitch, worse than Brendtner for us. He throws tantrums and doesn't give 100%. Whinger.

Re: The Premiership Football thread
GOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAL PETER CROUCH!!!!!!
DO THE ROBOT BROTHER!!!!

Re: The Premiership Football thread
Crouch is not a bad player.Besiktas had an early chance but it's been all Liverpool since then,3 or 4 good chances. Crouch looking good.
-
Re: The Premiership Football thread
2-0 at half..I like the way they are playing.
I told yall Crouch and Voronin would be good together! Crouch played the ball very well and if there is anything he knows how to score!
Voronin is a playmaker, he can shoot and he can pass...the ball he played to Benayoun was perfect...I never thought Yossi would factor in the game but he has had some good looks
-
Re: The Premiership Football thread
YOSSI AGAIN!!!! 3-0
And what's this about 'Pool fans not liking Voronin? He's fucking awesome
-
Re: The Premiership Football thread
Holy CRAP!!!!! YOSSI BENAYOUN WITH THE HAT TRICK!!!!!

i think Pennant probably is on crack to be honest.
kewell used to be quality when he was at leeds.
but with the injury he's lost his pace and that pretty much renders him useless.

Re: The Premiership Football thread
Fuck Micehl Platini. Fucking fag. WTF is up with trying to let cup winners entr the champs league? Well it's been REJECTED you faggot.
-
Re: The Premiership Football thread
Has Tottenham been playing better under Ramos, I haven't seen any of the games since.
I know they beat Wigan badly but Wigan sucks.
I guess they couldn't be playing any worse.
For a team with some exciting players, Liverpool bores the shit out of me. Fulham game just another boring game.
-
Re: The Premiership Football thread
Liverpool are a boring team minus the 8-0 and 5-0 earlier this season. I have no idea why. Well, against Wigan, even that bum Bent scored so things cant be that bad. I still think your defence need shoring up though Oumafan.
Arsenal Reading tonight,I'm nervous,we slip against smaller teams and are coming off 3 draws in a row.

Torres, Gerrard, Crouch, Voronin, Kuyt, Riise, Finan....they are hardly boring!
If Hypia didn't score so many own goals we wouldn't be so far back

That's kind of my point, I think of Torres, Voronin and Gerrard, those three especially-not sure about Kuyt- as exciting players yet they tend to bore the shit out of me as a team.
-
Re: The Premiership Football thread
...when they are on they are very good. I am not sure why Voronin gets so much bad press he's very talented and I think he can be a good centermid as well as a good striker.

Liverpools main objective is to stop you playing football, which is boring as hell, where as team like your Arsenals Uniteds Spurs, they concentrate on what they do rather than wat the opposistion brings.
