When does Soto fight start ?

Tarver's age caught up to him, he had plenty of opportunities to let his hands go, but just couldn't

Well done Chad dawson. He's a nice guy too. He made a new fan tonight. Tarver's bird's tits are plastic. The Setanta presenter is rubbish. Are there any more fights on and if so does somebody have a link please?

I would do the RBR but im too tired, but one last thing if Adrian Diaconu defeats Silvio Branco. Then should Chad Dawson fight him ? or should Chad Dawson look for a rematch against Glen Johnson ? or a fight with the winner of Bernard Hopkins vs Kelly Pavlik ? or the winner of Roy Jones vs Joe Calzaghe? the possibilities are endless for Chad Dawson.

Tarver did all he can but Chads speed and punch combos are too much for the old man... Very entertaining fight though..

Sam Peter is typical of your average heavyweight: wrought with lazy tendencies. He looked so soft. I didn't start watching until the 6th; how much did he weigh? At least 250+, right?

Vitali won....and you know what that means??? It means that both Vitali AND Wladimir are running the division!


I am excited to see who Vitali will fight next...maybe he's going to fight Rahman next (if Hasim wants it) OR maybe he'll fight Maskaev next OR even better he may fight Nicolay Valuev next!!!!!!

If anyone of the 3, please be Valuev. Peter had his way with Maskaev; that Cinderella story is over. And Rahman had more than he could handle with a Toney rematch. How's he going to deal with a better box who hits a lot harder?

He weighed 253 but honestly he has never weighed less than 243 in the past couple years.


Sam Peter does have power but as I told you from the get go he is a limited boxer, he's a SLUGGER/BRAWLER. Vitali and Wlad force you to box unless you just have a super chin and solid resolve that they will tire before you

Dawson is a crowd-pleaser. Credit for Tarver for having a really good chin throughout his career. He's one of those guys, like George Foreman, who never seems to have any prolonged effects from being punched. Dawson hit him with some doozies.

Is tarver overrated?

I only list those guys before Valuev because they had offered Vitali fights when he kept getting hurt.


I would LOVE to see Vitali clean up the WBA rankings from Valuev and Ruiz all the way down to JD Chapman and Sinan Samil Sam!

Branco should be collecting social security.Dawson has it all in front of him now.....great game plan.Honestly,Calzaghe/Dawson might be nice,both fluid and have high activity....Pavlik as well.I'd like to see that straight constant power vs. Dawsons versatility and hand speed.One thing at a time though,Hopkins looms ;D

But Tarver was pretty old out there. I agree that a prime Roy Jones Jr probably could have beaten and possibly stopped this Antonio Tarver. :-\

I think DH will slow down and tire down with extra weight but we will see when he fights Monte Barrett after all he won't be fighting cruiserweights anymore.

Coming in I thought Tarver had one big win left in him. Guess not. He fought well but Dawson age and speed were the deciding factor. Dawson looked better than he did in his last fight. Vitali looked very good for being out the ring for so long. As Peter? Fukk him. Never knew he lacked heart.
