Sexton has no idea how to stop that looping right hand.

Sexton parrying the jab well...
with his face.

Re: The Magnificant 7 Fight Thread
Enzo looks like he's 50 years old.
-
Re: The Magnificant 7 Fight Thread
Who trains Enzo these days?

Re: The Magnificant 7 Fight Thread
Chisora v Haye would of been ten times better than Haye v Harrison.
How about Del Boy for Wlad in December :-X.

;D
I think Del Boy would at least make a fight of it while it lasted, Audley will throw about two punches before he is sparked the fuck out.
-
Re: The Magnificant 7 Fight Thread
I think Chisora would give Haye problems. He's durable and aggressive and would be the hardest opponent Haye has ever faced imo.
Mormeck was well past his best, Enzo is mediocre, Barrett, Valuev and Ruiz are all joke fighters. Chisora would cause Haye all kinds of problems imo.
Not saying Chisora is great, just that Haye is vastly overated when you consider the opposition he has beaten.
-
Re: The Magnificant 7 Fight Thread
Nice from Del Boy good finish saw he was fucked and finished him.
-
Re: The Magnificant 7 Fight Thread
Great finish, Del Boy is definitely number 2 British heavy now. He stops Tyson Fury imo. That's what I want to see next.
-
Re: The Magnificant 7 Fight Thread
Del Boy might as well go international at this point, even if he doesn't do well, he will make for exciting fights and that's what the division needs right now.
-
Re: The Magnificant 7 Fight Thread
first loser of the night but luckily that keeps my under bet going. if enzo's fight goes the distance i will hang myself. fact.
-
Re: The Magnificant 7 Fight Thread
Good performance from Chisora that, impressed me tonight!
-
Re: The Magnificant 7 Fight Thread
were you guys that impressed by that fight? i thought it was pretty toilet.. chisora has no gears to me

Yes without a doubt. A display like that which was going out in Germany could get him a shot at Wlad next stranger things have happened considering he is thinking about Tua who got beat by Barrett ( well we all know he did ) last time out so why not?

Take away the Klitschko's and he can hang with anyone imo. Not saying he beats them all but he's on the same level as Arreola, Peter etc imo.
He's entertaining, quite fast and active for a heavyweight. Sexton wasn't bad, twice stopped Marty Rogan who had Ko'd Skelton and beaten Harrison.
Skelton had just gone the distance with Ruslan Chagaev who imo beat Valuev far more conclusively than Haye did.
His chin looks solid, he has a tank, and he's confident. I really think he gives David Haye a tough tough fight.

I really hope he doesn't fight a Klitschko anytime soon, that's his career ended prematurely imo.
I think he'll go after somebody like Sosnowski next if he can't fight Fury.
But Tyson Fury is a stand up type of kid I think, he'll want that fight and I reckon it gets made early next year. They will both want it.
But he needs to stay well well well well clear of Wlad and Vitali ;D

I think he is decent mate fringe world class he could live with Arreolas and Peters I reckon, id put him in with that Pole who is fighting on the John Murray bill next week who got beat by Vitali last time out.
He would smash Audley and anyone else in uk bar Haye.

bit early for a klitschko, hopefully sauerland dont go down that road
definite promise there though, saw him in realtime against williams and his strength is frightening. Obviously thats at a domestic level.
Will no doubt down the line fight for a world title, whether he wins one is another question
-
Re: The Magnificant 7 Fight Thread
So what round we betting Enzo gets sparked in?
I'm saying down twice and saved by the ref in round 3.
-
Re: The Magnificant 7 Fight Thread
Enzo's career coming to an end in the next 20 minutes? I say yes.
-
Re: The Magnificant 7 Fight Thread
if there's a god enzo is getting sparked

Mate he will never be ready in reality but the heavyweight scene is so poor right now bar Klits Haye and Adamek, anything is possible, Sod wat ever his name and Audley both getting shots at world titles.
If the call came could he turn it down? Like I say when Wlad is saying he has a list with the likes of David Tua who hasnt beat a fighter with a pulse for about ten years and got a gift last time out against two guns he might get a chance.

Absolutely, look at that nobody who Arreola struggled to get past last time out. Peter has looked shit in recent years. Chisora is a top 10 heavy imo in terms of who he beats.
I'd put him level with Juan Carlos Gomez and Dimitrenko now, well behind the Wlads and Solis but not far from the likes of Haye, Chambers, Povetkin and Chagaev and Tony Thompson. He gives those guys tough fights imo, not saying he wins them, but he's a tough opponent for them, no walkover.
-
Re: The Magnificant 7 Fight Thread
i like enzo as a person, seems a pretty nice guy
but the sooner he stops trying to attempting to reach world level the better. I know little of his opponent and therefore have no idea what will happen tonight
just hope if enzo is again battered he finally comes to the realisation that it was just never meant to be
-
Re: The Magnificant 7 Fight Thread
Does anyone have a link to this?
Cheers,
Chris

very true
dont see a hell of a lot of difference between him and peter hence why i said he could potentially go on and fight for an alphabet title somewhere down the line

Re: The Magnificant 7 Fight Thread
I'll throw this out there too, Chisora might well beat Adamek if they fought.
Adamek has been pushed hard by Arreola and Grant. Top heavies blow those guys away. Adamek is as overated as David Haye.
Solis knocks them both out. Chisora could upset them both imo.

You got all that after a win over Sexton eh?

Re: The Magnificant 7 Fight Thread
Frankel has some nice fast hands.

Re: The Magnificant 7 Fight Thread

Nah I've posted he would beat Haye even before this win.
But Sexton isn't bad, decent European class. And it's not saying a whole lot saying he could beat anyone bar the Klitschko's. Not a lot of world beaters in the heavyweight division.
He's as good as Arreola and Peter is what I'm saying. Adamek struggled with Arreola until his shoulder popped, and Grant wobbled him. Both those fighters are mediocre and they both pushed Adamek to his limits. He's nowhere near as good as people claim. It's relative, impressive because he's come up from light heavy.
But if a legit heavy put on the same performances nobody would get excited about them.
Adamek will lose before he gets to a Klitschko imo.

It happens every fight night, if they were truly sorry they wouldn't broadcast the corners. Their apologies are less convincing than a politician caught sucking a male prostitutes cock.
