RIngside was good last night the entire show about this fight with Hatton, Smith And Moore and a studio audience.
Nelson went round everyone with a mic and got their predictions.
Floyd came out slightly on points but loads of people think he never wanted this fight in the first place and was forced into it by public pressure.
With that in mind a lot of people reckon all the pressure is on Floyd to keep his O intact and that could play a big part.
Plenty think Manny will throw too many punches and put him in the deep end by midway just like I do which hopefully will force Floyd to attack and go for a rare KO win.
The nearer this gets the more I think we could see the very best of both fighters and get an absolute belter of a fight.
This could actually go down as one of the greatest fights in history and I don't just mean occasion wise.
I see a real fight developing if Floyd loses the opening 4-5 rounds đ
Manny says killer instinct still there
"Manny Pacquiao said Wednesday his "killer instinct" and will to win is as strong as ever, rejecting suggestions he is past his prime for next month's blockbuster bout with Floyd Mayweather. "

Manny fights back at Mayweathers Jabs
âReckless fighter? Thatâs how people like me and love me, because they like an exciting fight,â Pacquiao said. âWe call this boxing, (and) boxing is more punching. We talk about punching.â
Pacquiao (57-5-2, 38 KOs) has rarely skimped on excitement during his remarkable career as an eight-division champion, but the Filipino congressman realizes he is facing the greatest defensive fighter of their era. Mayweather (47-0, 26 KOs) has been nearly unhittable for most of his opponents during his perfect career.
But Pacquiao hopes Money realizes that the best way to get paid is to put on a fight worth seeing. After all, theyâre counting on fans to pay a record $99.95 for the pay-per-view, a figure described by no less than Pacquiao promoter Bob Arum as âostentatious consumerismâ if a fan bought it to watch all by himself.
And if Pacquiao is trying a bit of psychological trickery, it isnât subtle: He didnât even try to hide the fact that a brawl would be his best chance to win.
âIf he (does) that, thatâs good for me,â Pacquiao said. âI like that. Weâll see. Thatâs what I want, and thatâs definitely what the fans want â action.â
Unlike Mayweather, Pacquiao knows what itâs like to be knocked out and to get back up. Pacquiao lost both of his bouts in 2012 and ended his fourth fight with Juan Manuel Marquez face-down on the canvas in the sixth round.

Still not tickets on sale ? :-\ really?
Don't expect to snag a $1,500 nosebleed ticket - or any other ticket - at the box office for the fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao.
Just two weeks before the bout, tickets for the most anticipated fight in recent times have yet to go on public sale, with the two camps and the MGM Grand locked in a standoff over allotments. When they are finally put on sale, only a few will be sold at the listed price.
The impasse has left fans in the dark, and ticket brokers perplexed.
"It's bizarre, normally there's a public sale 10 weeks before the fight," said Connor Gregoire, an analyst for Seatgeek.com. "To our knowledge no one has a printed ticket in their hands right now."
Mayweather's promoter, Leonard Ellerbe, said Tuesday (Wednesday NZ time) that tickets would go on sale this week for the May 2 fight, but MGM officials have been tight-lipped about their availability.
The hotel issued a statement Friday saying there would be a "limited number of tickets available for sale" and that it is working with promoters to finalize a date for their release.
The fight was always going to be a tough ticket, with announced prices of $1,500 to $7,500 ($1,950 to $9,750 NZD) in the 16,500-seat Grand Garden arena.
But those prices have already tripled in the resale market even before tickets are available, and the two camps and the MGM have been dickering over how many seats - and at what price level - each party gets.
Pacquiao's manager, Michael Koncz, blamed the Mayweather camp for holding up the ticket sales, saying they have refused to sign a term sheet negotiated months earlier that specified the allotments.
"It's a real mess right now," Koncz said. "I can only surmise the motivation is greed and an attempt to manipulate the tickets, otherwise why the holdup? I'm more than a little upset they're not for sale to the public."
Millions of dollars are at stake in the dispute, because after the MGM takes its share each camp gets a certain percentage of tickets and is able to resell them with ticket brokers for higher prices.
The estimated gate for the tickets if they are sold at retail prices is already a staggering $72 million (NZD$93 million), far surpassing the previous gate record of $20 million for Mayweather's 2013 fight with Canelo Alvarez.
Promoter Bob Arum said he has heard of people cancelling their reservations to Las Vegas because they're afraid they can't get tickets.
"This is not acceptable," said Arum, who promotes Pacquiao. "This is a worldwide event that the city of Las Vegas is involved in. It's one of the craziest things I've ever seen."

The 60-40 split has a small wrinkle, Arum said. For revenue between $160 million and $180 million, the winner of the fight will get 51 percent ($10.2 million), Arum said, with the loser taking 49 percent ($9.8 million).
Revenue below and above that window will be divided, 60-40, in Mayweatherâs favor, Arum said. Ellerbe would not confirm or deny the breakdown, citing confidentiality.
Those first 160-180 numbers don't make much sence. As they highlight a 10.2 and 9.8 million dollar split for winner Vs loser. Who the hell is getting the bulk of that money? Maybe they missed a "0"
I don't think any of the tickets are going on sale, 1000 only were supposed to be so it looks like that's maybe not gonna happen.
99% of them will have already been dished out privately to high rolling casino guests from all over the world and corporate big cheeses/VIPs , movie and rock stars etc.
The atmosphere won't be too electric because of that đ
I want to see some knockdowns! That's how you get an exciting fight. It's certainly not beyond either fighter to win by KO

Thank you. That is most kind. :bounce:
An average price of $8000 a ticket?
"Some sites are saying the cheapest ticket to the fight would cost no less than US$4,800. "It was supposed to be three weeks ago, then two weeks, then this week, and my gut feeling is that they won't have that public sale," Chris Matcovich, a spokesman for TiqIQ, a ticket aggregator told Bloomberg. In the event that there is no public sale, it will simply means all tickets were purchased and divided between the MGM Grand and the promoters. Las Vegas ticket vendors estimate that the face value of the tickets range from US$1,500 to US$10,000 each. "

Roach's Parkinson medication leaves him depressed but working with Manny helps counter the effects
"Freddie Roach, the Hall of Fame trainer charged with coming up with the strategy for his star student Manny Pacquiao to end Floyd Mayweatherâs 47-fight winning sequence in 14 daysâ time, says that being âmarried to boxingâ has saved him from suicide.
Roach, who says the medication he takes for Parkinsonâs disease gives him these suicidal thoughts, also revealed in an exclusive interview with Telegraph Sport that Pacquiao had changed his life.
âI never have a day off,â the 55âyear-old coach says in a break from training at the Wild Card Gym, which he runs in Hollywood, California. âMy girlfriendâs going to leave me. Iâm in the gym every day, itâs part of life. Instead of taking a vacation, I like what I do. My vacations are right here.â
Roach has had Parkinsonâs disease for 23 years. But he reckons that getting in the ring, working on the pads, maintains a sharpness he would otherwise not have.
âI donât get sick too often. When Iâm sick, I just go to the gym and it goes away. With Parkinsonâs, sometimes you wake up and think: âWhy the f--- did they pick me?â But, you know, thatâs part of life. Some of the medications do cause depression and so forth and some mornings Iâll think about bad things. But then Iâll go to the gym and go to work and everything bad goes away."

Roach rates Ward and GGG above Floyd
"Roach was critical of Golovkin on numerous occasions and did not see him as a viable opponent for Cotto. Yet, unexpectedly Roach rated Golovkin and Ward higher than the welterweight Maywether.

Manny Pacquiao will be wearing the world's most expensive shorts when he takes the ring at the MGM Grand Garden Arena with Floyd Mayweather on May 2.

Hatton on Sr
Mayweather senior is renowned as being an excellent defensive coach but Hatton is unconvinced of his skills beyond that and is left with particularly grim memories of his humbling at the hands of Pacquiao.
âHe taught me a lot, he taught me a new side to the game in many ways,â he said. âHe taught me a lot of methods that I still use now as a boxing trainer.
âHe was a very good defensive coach and when I fought Paul Malignaggi it couldnât have gone any better, that was probably the best fight I produced since that Kostya Tszyu fight.
âHaving said that, the training didnât go quite as well for the Pacquiao fight. The tactics could have been better, there wasnât too much method there.
âHeâs not the best trainer in the corner Iâve had but he is a very good trainer nonetheless.â

Mayweather Sr turns on Ariza
All it seems is not happy at the Waltons
"Floyd Mayweather Sr. is not impressed with Alex Ariza, Manny Pacquiao's former conditioning coach who now works for his Floyd Jr.
In an interview with ontheropesboxing.com, Floyd Sr. dismissed the notion that Ariza is of any help in Mayweather's preparation for Manny Pacquiao on May 2 (May 3 PHL time).
"Strengthening him? That son of a [expletive] ainât strengthening nobody," said Floyd Sr. referring to Ariza.
"He ainât nobody. Heâs in there, I canât say exactly what heâs doing but he ainât strength training little Floyd. What Floydâs doing everybodyâs helping, itâs not just one person."
After getting fired from the Pacquiao camp, Ariza jumped ship to Robert Garcia's gym to help Brandon Rios prepare for his fight against the Filipino ring icon in 2013. Not only was Rios dominated by Pacquiao for 12 rounds, but he also failed a post-fight drug test after testing positive for a banned substance.
Ariza was booted out of Garcia's gym soon after.
"He (Ariza) donât know [expletive] anyways; he donât anything about no damn boxing. I do know that. I know he doesnât know anything about boxing and he donât know what to tell anyone anyways," said Floyd Sr.
"If he does know anything, itâs some dirty [expletive] and itâs something that nobody wants to use or hear about. Nobody is into that kind of mess."

Some thoughts from Dave Bontempo
Robert Brown: What are your general thought on the upcoming fight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather?
Dave Bontempo: As far as the fight is concerned, Iâm still going to lean a little to Mayweather with his terrific defense. I do believe that at some point that Manny Pacquiao will force Mayweather into what I call a âmoment of truthâ in which you have to overcome some adversity and that to me will make the fight. Iâm glad for the boxing fans that they finally get the fight. I was waiting for this fight in 2009. This could have been their fifth fight by now (laughs).
Robert Brown: I wrote an article three years ago titled: âThe Fight Wonât Happen, Forget About It.â Now the fight is happening but on this occasion I donât mind being wrong.
Dave Bontempo: You donât mind being wrong on that and you certainly would have a lot of company because when I interviewed people in 2010 they said, âIf it doesnât happen in 2011, it doesnât happen.â This is the one fight that broke the common sense rule of, if you donât have the fight then people will forget it and they wonât care about you and they wonât want it.
There are so many fights that you can look at in history that the guys waited too long and they never got it going, but in this case â maybe itâs the advent of social media that has kept their names out there and the marketing behind them â this fight breaks the rules. This fight, they kicked it away and they got it back.

Tweet from Max Kellerman in responce to Floyd claims - "Robinson had 130 W's before 2nd L. 1st L he was outweighed by 15lbs to HOFer who he beat 5x in 6 fights... *drops the mic*" :D
Wait what? Is he for real? Is this still part of the floyd "act" for the baddest guy persona award for boxing? If this is for promoting the fight then he's certainly making the right moves but people won't be flocking his TMT shop if he keeps this up. People who knows boxing that is. Still, if he really believes he's better than SRR then he must be doing some high grade sh*t.
I honestly don't bat an eyelid at delusion from boxers. I figure it's necessary.
Boxing fans on the other hand....
Ignore Floyd he is full of shit. The end.

The man widely considered the leading referee in the world will be in charge of the richest fight of all time.
Kenny Bayless has the honour of being the third man in the ring with Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao on May 2.
The appointment will be welcomed by both camps.
Bob Arum, Pacquiao's promoter, says: 'Bayless is the best out there.'
Bayless, a veteran of countless big fights in Las Vegas, will celebrate his 65th birthday two days after supervising the Fight of the Century in the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
The Nevada State Athletic Commission, acutely aware that the officiating has to be of the highest order, given that the fight is likely to attract an audience well beyond those who usually watch boxing, have wisely put their trust in the large physical presence and unflappable personality of Bayless.
Kenny Bayless named as referee for Las Vegas showdown between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao ** | Daily Mail Online
Eleven days before the fight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, an actual contract for the bout to take place at the MGM Grand still has not been signed.
Top Rank promoter Bob Arum told ESPN.com on Tuesday that he wasn't signing the contract that he received a draft of on April 15 because it wasn't what he agreed to when the MGM, Mayweather Promotions and he signed the term sheet a couple months ago.
"We agreed that we would all be signatories on the final contract and then they sent us a draft of the agreement and it excluded us," said Arum, who promotes Pacquiao.
Not being a signatory to the contract means that Top Rank wouldn't have control of decisions during the fight, including in-arena production, video content and music.
"They don't want us to have any say," Arum said. "So whether they came up with the deal between Mayweather and MGM before or after our agreement, they've committed fraud either way. That's what we're enmeshed in."
Leonard Ellerbe, CEO of Mayweather Promotions, disagreed with Arum's characterization of the original deal.
"The bottom line is that Bob isn't willing to live with the agreement signed a couple months ago, which doesn't allow him to be in control," Ellerbe said. "The only conspiracy, in my opinion, exists with him trying to conspire with his lawyers to change the terms of the agreement. I assure you that nothing underhanded is going on and the reference to this back alley stuff is ridiculous."
Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao contract still not signed
That (Bob Arum refusing to sign the contract) does lend credence to Mayweather's contention...that Bob was the biggest hurdle to the fight all along.
In the absence of Harry Hill goading anyone on it still seems Mayweather Sr is busting for a tear up with Freddie Roach
Jenna J: Do you expect to say anything to Freddie when the weigh in happens, on May 1st?
Floyd Mayweather Sr: "I donât really know what to say. I know one thing and itâs like this right here, if he hits me in some kind of way for no reason and I havenât done anything to him, Iâm gonna beat the shit out of him. I mean, there ainât nothing that I would want to do to anybody who has an ailment, but as long as he donât try nothing stupid like that, then he ainât gotta worry about nothing happening to him.
If he hits me or something, if he hits me anywhere, Iâm gonna retaliate. Iâm not one of those kinds of guys that go back in the back and talk about what he did, this and that. Iâll be doing it myself, believe that. As long as he donât bother me, he ainât got to worry about no problem, but if he hits me or something, he got a big problem.
Freddie Roach seems to think that he can talk about me and talk about other people and then nobody is supposed to respond to what he is saying because heâs got Parkinsonâs, he thinks nobody is supposed to respond. Iâm not gonna respond about his Parkinsonâs or anything like that, but if he hits me or something like that, itâs a different problem. Itâs a problem right there, right then"

Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao: WBC unveil $1m emerald green belt which will be given to mega-fight winner | Daily Mail Online
Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao were given a glimpse of the WBC emerald winnerâs belt on Tuesday when it was unveiled in Mexico City.
The emerald green, diamond encrusted belt was unveiled by World Boxing Council president Mauricio Sulaiman who was joined by former world heavyweight champion Larry Holmes.
Current WBC light heavyweight champion Adonis Stevenson was also on hand as the $1million creation was put on show.
Boxing fans worldwide voted for the traditional emerald green belt, which will be handed to the winner of the mega-fight, over an Onyx belt of a more unusual design earlier this year.
In a statement the WBC said: 'This exquisite masterpiece is especially designed by the World Boxing Council, for a unique bout that is already gracing the pages of boxing history.
'In order to appropriately recognise the winner of this titanic and epic event on May 2, emeralds have triumphed.
'The World Boxing Council is very grateful to the multitude of fans that participated in this process, voting on our web page, to choose the historic belt Mayweather or Pacquiao will proudly possess.'
"The only hint to the actual term sheet was posted on Manny Pacquiao's Facebook page on the day it was signed in February. Pacquiao posted the first page of the term sheet before deleting it, but not before it was screengrabbed.
While the page of the term sheet does say that Mayweather and Top Rank will "jointly own and promote the event," it also names Mayweather as lead promoter and "sole negotiator" of the deal with MGM."
