Brutal but beautiful shot.
Ngannou has definitely slimmed down since. Tapia was such a lightning rod and passionate fighter. Doesn't get the overall appreciation he's due imo.

I never knew JCC Superstar was due to fight Ward. That would have been a beautiful brutal fight. Can you remember the reason, injury?

First time seeing this one of Harry Greb. Far as I know no one here ever saw actual footage of Greb but remember Britkid mentioning something way back. Pic had to be around 1916-1919 maybe ? as his wife Mildred Riley passed away in 1920. Ironic pic, we always associate Greb with being the picture of an all-time tough never say die SOB and battering Gene Tunney and here being nursed by the Mrs. The man had bear paws for hands too!Quote:
