Scores were right he played the opponent today that refuses to lay it on the line n get a ko or get kod n he needed to do that but refused to pull the trigger on the right. Rematch or retirement?we're not getting the interview in us

Re: Wlad-Fury - Plus Rod Stewart. 10pm. Saturday/SKY PPV. Fact.
Totally speechless, but seriously how bad was Wlad. Threw about 5 right hands in 12 rounds. Well done Tyson.

Re: Wlad-Fury - Plus Rod Stewart. 10pm. Saturday/SKY PPV. Fact.

Simply can't believe what I've just seen. Well done Fury, Wlad just didn't throw anything tonight.
-
Re: Wlad-Fury - Plus Rod Stewart. 10pm. Saturday/SKY PPV. Fact.
seriously well done Fury didnt think he could perform near this level. I still don't rate him though - hoping Haye annoys him enough to get a challenge because I THINK (and I think because I THOUGHT he couldnt beat Klitscho) Haye would smash him with his speed... but who knoes I guess!
-
Re: Wlad-Fury - Plus Rod Stewart. 10pm. Saturday/SKY PPV. Fact.
Just think back to everything I said. Wlad didnt do anything because he couldnt. He couldnt open up for fear of being caught!

Well he lost... but without taking anything away from Fury there are people who took a bigger beating form a wet fish ;D

Re: Wlad-Fury - Plus Rod Stewart. 10pm. Saturday/SKY PPV. Fact.
What a shameful display by the supposed heavyweight champion of the world. I've said it a million times and I'll say it for the millionth and one. The fear of getting hit is what has made Wlad one of the lousiest heavyweight champions on record, and the reason why he has zilch fan base outside of Ukraine and Germany....... ZILCH.

Hey , I'm pleased for Fury, sounds like he deserved it and good luck to him. I even think that's the best he's sung as well!!😂

Congratulations for sticking to your guns in the face of so much opposition. Wlad was worse than shite tonight, not all of that was down to Tyson, but Fury did what was required and fulfilled his destiny. Did you win any money mate ?
-
Re: Wlad-Fury - Plus Rod Stewart. 10pm. Saturday/SKY PPV. Fact.
Wlad will definitely retire now, surely. I'll bet David Haye is in the Gym right now, as we speak. He's gonna see the ££££signs in his eyes!
-
Like there was literally a moment where klit pushed the right out n took it back halfway thru. Literally three punches more a round n wins but extremely gun shy n nobody lighting a fire in corner. Did they say rematch or retirement or???
-
Re: Wlad-Fury - Plus Rod Stewart. 10pm. Saturday/SKY PPV. Fact.
I'll go back and eat my words ;D Turns out Fury had a method to the madness and knew it.
Wilder v Fury would be pretty entertaining now

That's what rules and regulations are for.
As far as I know, Floyd never stacked the deck in a manner which made it obvious he was scared of the opponent, playing to strengths and weaknesses. Wlad has been worried since Day One..... and I'm hoping he gets "Sanders-ed" into tomorrow.
Are you telling me Floyd never dictated which gloves would be used ever? Do you believe Wlad and his team said "we'll use these gloves cos his thumbs won't fit in them? Come on.
To the credit of Team Fury , they never made a big deal about the Gloves.
As for the ring, have Ali and Floyd never dictated the size of the ring, and others for that matter? Again, they're within a pound of each other weight wise, do you think Wlad said "let's have a bouncy castle ring cos that'll fuck him up, it might fuck me up , but I'll take the risk?"
I hope Fury doesn't believe Wlad is scared, because if he does, he is in a World of trouble. Wlad has that fucking lunatic Shannon Briggs chase him round the World and nearly run him over in a speedboat on a lake (hilarious btw), and he's scared of Batman?
Ward never fights outside Oakland, Ali used to piss opponents about, Floyd notoriously did, right or wrong , as Bruce Hornsby and the range famously said "it's just the way it is"
That is PRECISELY what Wlad fought like....... a scared little deer afraid of throwing a meaningful punch lest he get his fragile chin grazed.
A disgraceful display by one of the worst champions in history.

Re: Wlad-Fury - Plus Rod Stewart. 10pm. Saturday/SKY PPV. Fact.
Where is Ross? Did he pass out, decide to go to Germany, have a nervous breakdown, or out celebrating? ;D

Re: Wlad-Fury - Plus Rod Stewart. 10pm. Saturday/SKY PPV. Fact.
Knowing how the Klits do business we have to assume that Wlad has an iron clad immediate rematch clause.
Wlad looked flat but man you have to give credit for how well Fury fought. The movement and the floating to his left when Wlad threw the left hook was pretty nice. Great head movement to. Wlads right hand was vacant but its because of Fury again.
The guy deserves huge credit and this has to rank way up there on the upset list
-
Re: Wlad-Fury - Plus Rod Stewart. 10pm. Saturday/SKY PPV. Fact.
Wlad looked every one of them 39 years tonight. But in the last couple of years some very decent fighters have had the chance to show Wlad's age, only Fury delivered.
I said pre fight that Tyson would do well just to get into the second half of the fight. Well, that humble pie tastes good!
-
Yea i got to eat crow never ina million years did i see this happening. Fury is the same as froch to me now in that i watch em fight n have no idea how they win but just do. N ill only see a rematch if klit actually throws

I think as you mention there will be a rematch clause. But Wlad might call it a day, I doubt he can improve on what he did tonight.
That said, I hope Fury's fancy drill in Tyson's psyche in the next couple of days what happened to Riddick Bowe after he won the crown...

That's a bit much, Wlad may not be the most entertaining, but there have been so many people, particularly in the current era who have been able to get a share of the heavyweight title, and there is no way that he is one of the worst.

They probably have got a rematch clause, but will they want it? Will he want to tarnish his image further? It might even be in the UK next time , and as challenger, will he take the short end of the wedge?
Just heard that Wilder has been on Twitter mouthing off already. Be careful what you wish for!

Re: Wlad-Fury - Plus Rod Stewart. 10pm. Saturday/SKY PPV. Fact.
To think the now 'Generally recognized' Heavyweight Champion of the World (only Britain's third), was fifteen fights ago, lucky to beat John McDermott...
For the American's under thirty here, imagine having THE Heavyweight Champion...;D
Seriously though McDermott at times made Butterbean look a sharp, in shape boxer...

He looked dead a few times but the size of Fury, his speed, unorthodox style gave Wlad fits and not to blow my own horn but as I have often said it could but given the experience factor I never thought it would. Wlad looked like he was missing his sand box. I doubt Fury could have performed the same with the mud floor they had planned. Fury was not standing in front of him and they even figured out how to counter his hugging. He rolled left and threw from odd angles and made Wlad look terribly slow. Sure Wlad is 39 but he was expected to annihilate Fury going in. I think its unfair to underplay what Fury did to make him look that 39.

Re: Wlad-Fury - Plus Rod Stewart. 10pm. Saturday/SKY PPV. Fact.
I'd still pick Wlad to win a rematch by KO

Re: Wlad-Fury - Plus Rod Stewart. 10pm. Saturday/SKY PPV. Fact.
I think if Tyson was a little more skilled in throwing his punches, it may have even been a KO victory. He threw a lot of those right hands a bit too wide. I was hoping for one of them to land.... and he did connect some good left hooks on Wlad late in the fight. If Wlad had Fury's moxie and bravado.... he'd be unbeatable.
AND...... he'd have a lot more fans. But he doesn't, he isn't, and he doesn't.
;D

Re: Wlad-Fury - Plus Rod Stewart. 10pm. Saturday/SKY PPV. Fact.
Congrats to Fury but i got to say that was boring fight i mean nothing happened for most of it. If there is a rematch not sure if i will even go watch it people complain about wald being boring but Fury did not really kncok my socks off he going to be like Wald pretty much but it is nice have a new champ.

Re: Wlad-Fury - Plus Rod Stewart. 10pm. Saturday/SKY PPV. Fact.
I'm watching it now. I'm so happy. I got a text saying Fury had won and I thought it was a wind up. Then I had a dodgy signal but eventually the Guardian confirmed it! Fantastic. Once that fucking cabbage farmer fought somebody who could move and was as big as him to nullify his jab and grab he just shit himself. He's scared to throw the jab because he's terrified of what he might get hit with in return. Fuck off cabbage farmer, you were shit to watch and have zero balls.

Damn right!
Maybe people now will start giving a sh*t about the heavyweight division again.

If I've exaggerated a bit, it's out of the frustration of seeing the division held hostage by a boring fighter who proved once and for all that he doesn't fight to win, but rather protect his fragile chin. The only thing that would have made this more complete is if Fury would've flattened him for his troubles.

I agree that he was (already flipping into past tense...no rematch in my mind) horribly boring to watch but I do have a grudging respect for how he realized that his main flaw was the weak chin, and how he went on to create a gameplan that was so difficult to overcome for so long that protected his key weakness. I do agree that his defeat makes it a much more exciting place in the heavyweight division.
