This is a total exaggeration.
better?
How many rounds do you think Castillo won in that first fight?
It's amazing how Floyd was able to recover so quickly from getting his head smashed in and win the rematch just a few months later.

Re: Which current active fighter has a more sound legacy than PBF?
The key to finding out Mayweather’s true greatness is cutting that ring size down from 27 foot to 16 foot , He and his people have always dictated that huge ring in the contracts.lets see how he does when he don't have everything his way. Ring size is a huge factor for Floyd’s superiority in the ring . Now a standard 16 foot ring would be like kryptonite to Mayweather. I hope Oscar dictated ring size in the contract. If Oscar did, he wins, however if he didn’t , well Floyd will simply stay on his heels and skate to another victory. At least that’s how I see it. O0

Ok, you only have a one point difference from what I had. I scored it 113-113.
Either way, it was hardly a beatdown or a**kicking, on either side. It was a tough, close fight. Castillo was ready and in good shape. Floyd, for whatever reason, didn't fight well from Round 5 on.
They were standing flat footed and trading for the last few rounds, Floyd didn't run away. And after the controversial decision, Floyd did the right thing and granted an immediate rematch, and he clearly beat Castillo the second time.
Every other point you made in that earlier post was reasonable. It just seemed like the "head smashed in" part was an obvious exaggeration and didn't fit in with the other arguments you were making.

How about now? (see above)

So just who did Floyd beat that makes him a better case for p4p than, say, Hatton.
Ricky fought a legend and the "man" for the legitimate light welter title, then unified, then moved up a weight straight in to another title fight and wan then went back down a weight and beat yet another title holder, thats 4 reigning world champs in his last 4 fights, who has Floyd fought in his last 4 fights ?
He is p4p over Hatton because ...
Speed-PBF
Stamina-PBF
Strength-Hatton
Ring awareness-PBF
Defense-PBF
Experience-PBF
I could go on all day.
...and on and on and on and on.....
He is P4p for one reason alone ( no loss ) What kind of serious boxing enthusiast would qualify this schedule of opponents as one worth of a legacy.
http://www.boxrec.com/boxer_display.php?boxer_id=000352
Never has he fought another P4P boxer, those that did manage to win championship belts only polished / buffed them before relinquishing them. This schedule is littered with decent boxers and a couple of good ones. Those that had power have no mobility, and those that had mobility have no power. There is no reason he should not be 37- 0 so where is the accomplishment? Where are the great / risky opponents? I ask you once again to look at the list of fights and which fighters had a legitimate chance ....... ? If he conducts himself like a fraud and he fights only frauds , then it must be a fraud. This schedule absolutely merits no consideration for all time great status ! "PBF has undeniable skills/talents but he needs to put up or shut up" When you accomplish great things others will talk for you , you have no need to talk. Unless you're merely masking some shortcomings !!!!!
What are you talking about?
1.He had an amazing amateur career
2.Olympic medalist
3.Dominated almost all of his opponents
4.Has nearly perfected his fight game
I could go on ALL day.
I ask...name some risky opponents for Floyd? His list of opponents is FAAAARRR better than any other welterweight other than Mosley
Dude you are a complete Joke, how long are you gonna do your comic act? Are you on break from your job as mail sorter for the PBF fan club? Your response does not even corelate to what I posted. I asked for previous P4p opponents that has him at his current status and you bring in 3rd party interjections. WTF does your comment about other current welterweights have to do with it? Future fight plans have no bearing on history only what has transpired matters. I am talking about PBF's lack 1st rate competition. Then you go on to trivial amateur information, you forgot to mention that paper route he had with 100% delivery & punctuality as an 8 year old, and how he bobbed & weaved his way from avoiding the Dr's slap on his ass at birth.
1.He had an amazing amateur career ---------- ODH and Mosley had more storied amateur reps.
2.Olympic medalist ODH has a Gold
3.Dominated almost all of his opponents Opponents ? More like offerings
4.Has nearly perfected his fight game Nope, has yet to develop class or mandible control
I could go on ALL day. Yes, it's apparent you have the "runs"
@ Michael Jordan status ? What a great one liner ............you are too funny. So why is your image of Michael Jordan getting Pippen change ? What does that make ODH ? See your own words : Floyd is at that level where he doesn't have to chance anyone now... ( When has he ever ?)
