He is supposed to be one-dimensional, all he can do is hit and hold. 43 times he has got away with doing that :D
It's a fight I would love to see. Out of anyone left (maybe with the exception of Cotto) I think Hatton has the skills and ferocity to beat Floyd.
if he would have been a man of his word and given collazo the rematch as collazo was the champ..we wouldn't even be talking about PBf v Hatton...because hatton would have "1" in the loss column and floyd would be forced to fight the man he should...Shane Mosley...
Hatton was going to fight someone at 140 and then at 5 weeks notice i think it was he had to change and make 147 it was his first time at that weight and if he would of had rematch he would of beaten Collazo alot more convincing.
i guess that's why he immediately went back down to forty instead of taken a tune up at the new weight...collazo hurt him in that fight several times and he probably doesn't yet feel comfortable enough that he can take the punches from true welters

That would of been a waste of time Collazo had his shot 2 times against Hatton and Mosley and failed Hatton is now going to fight Mayweather so i would say he has made the right choices.

Yeah because he would have a loss had he given the champ collazo a rematch and that loss would have dented any chances of a fight with floyd..so yeah he did the right thing by going backdown to beat up the moving up castillo..because he figured well he got beat up by a bigger man, why not do it to someone else...

How would he have lost ?? that was bad performance from Hatton where as Collazo fought fight of his life big difference.

yeah it was bad because of collazo beating him up....i guess morrales had an off night against raheem too...collazo is slick and would give hatton trouble any day of the week because of the style...if that was a bad night then castillo had a bad night
Re: MAYWEATHER VS HATTON AT 147?????
Yes he changed to fighting Collazo with 5 week to go but training camps only normally last 8 week so he was'nt even half way through camp when he knew he was going to fight Collazo. He did'nt beat him well enough in most fans eyes he should have fought him again to prove the doubters wrong like Barrera does.

Hatton wasn't beaten up he won the fight just because he had marks on his face doesn't mean anything he mostly always does Collazo would give Hatton trouble but he wouldn't win Hatton only had 5 weeks and it was his first time at that weight give Hatton the proper time and getting used to Welterweight he would beat Collazo no question.
Re: MAYWEATHER VS HATTON AT 147?????
Well Ice when he moves upto 147lbs again he still won't be used to it anf Mayweather is no Collazo so what do you think happens?

Hatton will have time to prepare and i think he took Collazo lightly i don't think he thought he would be as good as he was like alot of people didn't.

i dont care about the marks..i have a light complexion and i bruise easily so marks mean nothing..hatton was hurt in that fight.even he said it..and as proud as fighters are you have to be really stunned by a punch to admit it..Hatton was roughed up...it's okay but you have to give collazo his props he fought ricky tough and ricky escaped, not escaped earned a MD..that's simple...to say Hatton is the type of fighter that blows everyone out, and when he doesn't then "it was an off night" that's just wrong because Hatton is one of the best, but not because he soundedly beat his opponents...
Re: MAYWEATHER VS HATTON AT 147?????

I didn't say he would blow through Collazo but he would win more convincing and it was an off night im sorry but it was Collazo fought a good fight i give him props but Ricky didn't have proper time to prepare and didn't fight that much of a good fight.
