I don't think Hatton looked great against Collazo by a long shot. I don't think many would say he did TBH. He did look very good against Malignaggi though.Quote:

I think he's aging out. His face is getting more puffed up every fight (and Mallinaggi is not even well known as a puncher). I think he started going down the hill after the PBF fight.

Completely outclassed malignaggi and actually beat paulie at his own game
as for the puffed up face thing.................his had that all his career, as well as hand trouble, forehead cuts, inability to straighten his arms and a permenantly broken nose and its not bothered him yet.
Mayweather was just too fast and strong for ricky who couldnt get his gameplan off on the night.

I thought after the Lazcano fight that Hatton was in the dumps mentally. Easy win, but sloppy as hell. Physically too, I thought Lazcano hurt Ricky twice and Lazcano shouldn't be hurting Ricky at 140. But that is me being critical, Hatton pretty much shut Lazcano out and was in no real danger of ever losing the fight. Even on autopilot Hatton beats up most fighters.Quote:

But against Malignaggi who many expected to give Hatton fits, Hatton showed that his head was right back where it needs to be. Sure, Hatton got a little bit of a mouse under the eye, but he dominated that fight and had Paulie clinging for life repeatedly. That was not a fighter on the slide. That was Hatton stating quite emphatically that he is the man at 140.
I don't see anything wrong with Hatton, if truth be known. I see a lot of things right. He has shaken off the Mayweather loss and has bounced back with an eye on improving himself. Hatton on the slide would have continued with the same old routines. But Ricky has his head head in a good place right now. Nothing to worry about unless you are a fan of all things Pac. ;D

Hatton is 30 years old just stopped the 140 ranked number two fighter and is the best at 140 lbs in the world and Pac beating him you dont think its much of an accomplishment, Hatton has been beaton once in his life against probably the best fighter the World has seen in the past 15-20 years. Hatton is fine hes no way near shot only fighters who beat Hatton now are elite fighters hes world class and beats also every fighter in and around his weight class, Pac wins it adds only to his legacy. I actully thought that Hatton had lost a bit of hunger prior to the Paulie fight but i think it was actully Billy Graham who put Hatton in that posistion and with Floyd senior you can see Ricky has his spring back and looks pretty fresh.

Props to Floyd, he's learning now how to finish a fight.
I pick Floyd to win the fight coz Hatton's arms is only 20" & only 5'6" short. Pac's 5'6 1/2" & 25" long from Armpit to fist. Pac is a Different animal than Hatton, He's faster, Punch straighter, Better head movement, quick footed. Watch Pac in any fight, he's not that hittable with the left hook. The opponent has to deal with Pac's Jab in order to be hit by a Left hook.
You haven't seen the welter Pac yet. You've only seen the 130 Pac with the Power of a middleweight.
Pac will be busy with JMM, Diaz & maybe DLH. PBF will take a Break, He'll not fight Cotto or any of the Bigger welter. hatton will Probably will be back at 140 fighting Witter or Torres. Pac might fight Hatton in England after DLH.
PBF will come out of retirement to fight Pac after all thoose Big fights.

People who bring up i told you soo and try to make someone out to look fucking stupid after the event are pretty pathetic in my mind. No one is ever right 100% of the time, most people on here are very knowledgable and we all get fight predictions wrong, i bet less than 5% of the people on here saw Hatton getting laid out in the second round, i didnt think Pac's power would trouble Hatton in that he would ko him with one dig, but shit happens.
