It just looked to me that camp Hatton were fighting an unknown boxer. The whole world knows what Pacmans strenghts are just not Mayweather and Lee Beard.
I dont want to take anything away from Pacquiao on this. within 20 seconds of the fight starting i think it was clear who was guna win, and at the end of the 1st round i think we all knew the next round was guna be the last. Ive never seen him hit so hard and hes as quick as hes ver been. Absolutly tremendous he is.
But im left frustrated and a little angry, yes there was a gulf in class i wasnt expecting but i really dont believe that Mayweather and Hatton has took Pacman seriously.
Where as Roach worked on the whole package, Mayweather just thought lettin Hatton off the leash on the night was guna be enough. Hattons always had a thing about stretchin with his shots and leavin himself open, but with big mouth Floyd in his corner being the best coach in the world in his own eyes youd think that they would work on that.
In a fight where its strength v speed we never got to find out about the strength man as his chin was laid on a plate to the speedster.
To tell you the truth, both man looked pretty confused. Just that pacman got the best of hatton thats all. It can easily be the other way around. Pacman is just a more gifted fighter.
Re: Do you think PAC will inflict the worst beating ever on Database Error?
Nothing to be ashamed of, even Mr. Fightnews Dot Com was downed by PAC amazing performance... Saddo, Eastside, Pacland ... all were down...
.
Re: Do you think PAC will inflict the worst beating ever on Database Error?
Give credit to Ricky for fighting the best guys. Ricky is good but just turned out and clear that Pac is better. Well we have seen that Manny's power is still way dangerous on this division, chin still untested, never been hurt since diaz.
Re: A tale of 2 training camps
Its just that if it was me training Hatton to fight Pacquiao the 1st thing id do would be to deal with makin sure you dont get hit with those shots. Its exactly the type of thing Pacmans known for.
Fair enough sometimes people are so good you know what they are guna do but you just cant stop them but Hatton walked into them like he didnt expect them and it was somethin new to Pacmans game.
Though like i say i dont wana take anyting away from Manny cuz its his brilliance that got the job done, i just cant believe Hatton didnt even try to have anything in mind to combat that type of attack
Re: hatton's pride did him in!
I think brawling was his best and only option, he was never guna outbox him. But at this level you need to be a calculated brawler. He wasnt.
He couldnt afford to go in gung ho like hes done in the past, he needed to earn his way in and then go to work, we knew manny would get Hatton on the way in what ever he did but christ he made it easy for Pacman.
I just cant believe they didnt train with all that in mind, id accept that he tried to go in as safe as he could but still got the pasting but he was just wide open to it. If id known he was guna have his chin out like that, get clouted then leave it out again in the exact same way id of favoured Manny from the start.

maybe you are right, but he should have charged on MANNY from an angle, not straightforward as he had done all the time...another approach is for him to be patient in boxing in and out of MANNY,and wait for the right instance to go all out.He landed several solid body blows, but he kept on pressing with his head open. You cant stay open for MANNY for 10 seconds. He will thug your head at any time.
I can sense HATTON disobeyed instructions from his corner. He simply does not have the capacity to adjust. To be frank about this,i can see BOXER oozing with so much pride in HATTON.Simply hardheaded......oppps sorry about this comment.
