Exactly.
Then Mayorga has bigger fish to fry in Pacquiao. Imagine if he wins that one as well. That would be a sour pill to swallow for some eh;D
One things for sure though, Mayorga would fight Mayweather in a heart beat. Probably not win but we wouldnt have over a years worth of "will they wont they" cry baby bullshit.

Expect tears people. You heard it here 1st.
No way, your not stealing my thunder!! Iv been saying it for weeks!;D
El terrible, maybe you should take up boxing. So you can understand how fighters feel. Vent some frustration on a sparring partner. You could even pretend they are me and say (in your head so no one thinks your stupid) "Ill teach you! Silly Ross! This is how Cotto will beat Mayorga!" and then when you get back up, youll feel much better;)
i've been in boxing since i was 5 haha i don't compete, i just train and spar, but sorry you must be right up there with the likes of Ali due to your vast experience of 18 fights :-X, record must look something like 0-18, cause it's clear from all your posts that you know jack shit about the sport buddy, but hey, you know everything about a fighter you've never seen fight, that's real credible
Re: Cotto vs Mayorga - Top Rank Trailer
Cotto will win this, mark my words, he now has the right hand and not just the left hook and jab.

For one I never take Mayorga's trash talking seriously. It is pure pantomime. If anyone takes that seriously then bigger fool them.
And as for Mayorga I don't know why people are so eager to belittle him. Sure he lost a few fights early on and has lost his biggest fights, but as has been pointed out he has only lost to the elite since breaking through. Much the same as Cotto really.
It's going to be a fun fight and that's all anyone can expect. I'm really looking forward to it. I love watching Mayorga go out and do his thing.
This surprises me from you, miles. Obviously you haven't been reading my posts, where I give Mayorga the credit he's due, and have stated over and over that Mayorga has the "puncher's chance". And for the record, I've never truly disliked Mayorga. I realize he's doing his thing for the show, and actually gets people's interest in the fight even more. Of course, I'm not gonna lie and say I didn't enjoy his thorough thrashing at the hands of Tito after talking so much trash and letting Tito tee off on him a couple of times. But mostly I see it as harmless. I much more dislike an Oscar de la Hoya, for instance, who has always wanted to seem so above everything, and when it came down to it... he was more about his damn image and legacy than anything else.
So please don't make these sweeping generalization of Cotto fans. NOW... having said that... I'm a lot more riled up about some Bozo openly wishing that Cotto climbs into the ring against Mayorga with his surgically repaired shoulder still bothering him. When I read stuff like that, I immediately and permanently dismiss the Bozo as a hater, and not much of a boxing fan. And sure... my interest in the fight increases that much more. And nothing against Mayorga, but now I want Cotto to rip his chain-smoking head off.
As for the analysis over the fight itself, I've constantly (and been constant about it) harped about Cotto being BY FAR the better boxer, and even better now, with Stewart in his corner. So much so, that I'm one of the admittedly few that thinks Cotto would've had a pretty good chance against Pacquiao with Emanual in his corner, instead of the clueless Joe "WTF?" Santiago.
So what do I think? I think Cotto needs to bring his "A" game to the ring, be wary of Mayorga's big bombs at the beginning of the fight, and gradually and methodically rough up Mayorga to the head and to the body until the bravado is gone from Mayorga. A late round TKO wouldn't be out of the question. But Cotto can't get careless. 'Cause a big bomb from Ricardo would hurt him for sure.
And again... win or lose... I'll be on the forum. Unfortunately, the before-mentioned Bozo will undoubtedly take a LONG sabbatical should Mayorga lose. That's the nature of losers.

Oh please toughen up daisy!
Paste what I said. It says that Cotto will be having trouble starting this camp because of the long lay off and the surgery. It's just fact. I didn't make him have the surgery. You keep mentioning it and you look like a whiny kid.;D

well seeing how you only have a record of 0-18 it wouldn't be that hard to match up to that ;), either way like i said, come March when Mayorga gets dropped hard just like Tyson did against every prime elite fighter he did, i don't wanna hear you make excuses or tucking ass and running like you likely do in the ring

I had an amateur record of 18 fights with 12 wins, never knocked down. At 72 to 78 kilos. If you weren't such a little sissy girl you might have actually competed rather than just lurking around in gyms watching sweaty men work out;D;D

fight night doesn't count :), seeing how you can basically sum up a proven pro's career without seeing a single fight, well i'm entitled to do the same, hence you ran like a bitch whenever "you went into the ring", either way sonny show up right after the fight to get your lashings, don't do a madtakamura and take it as if i'm flirting with you, have a good one

Nice one!
Hopefully hes knuckling down and smashing sparring partners up as we speak! Carrying on the momentum from his last fight, while Cotto is struggling to hit the pads because of his surgery
Here's your post, dumbass. If you weren't a young punk I'd swear your Alzheimers is kicking in.

I bet you were frantically looking for that, probably knocked your can of pop over as you did some angry typing.
If you look very closely, I typed a statement that "Cotto, is struggling to hit the pads because of his surgery" if you have surgery on your shoulder, you will struggle to
Punch. If you had a hip operation, you would struggle to kick box!
Take a deep breath and wipe away the tears ;D
Re: Cotto vs Mayorga - Top Rank Trailer
simple question, who has only one MEANINGFUL name with a W next to it on his record?
Mayorga -Forrest, Vargas (shot, bloated, and fucked up back), Lewis (wasn't elite and Margacheato did it quicker), Piccirillo (Forrest beat him even more solidly), Trinidad (ass whooping after Trinidad had a 2 year retirement and no tune up), DLH (worse ass whooping), Spinks (boxing lesson), and Mosley (did the bare minimum and still knocked him the fuck out)
Cotto - Pinto (same level as Lewis), Bailey (was still relevant afterwards, fighting Urango and being considered as Berto's opponent), Corley, Torres, Malignaggi, Quintana, Judah, MOSLEY, Margarito (still can justifiably suspect gloves were loaded), Clottey, Pacquiao (P4P #1 or #2 best fighter in the world), and Foreman (again same level as Piccirillo)
