Maidana just isn't the same at 147. He's too small, has iffy punch resistance, and can't stop guys with one shot like he used to do.

Lopez cant miss.

Lopez is a mentalist. Guy just loves a good tear up. Great fight thus far, he fucked Maidana up in that round.

Yeah I'm not sure why he went there. I didn't hear of any issues making weight prior to this.

Man, I feel bad for Lopez there. He was on the verge of a big upset and I wish he had taken a knee.

That stoppage looked premature

Commentators saying stoppage was early but he'd just been knocked down, and he was getting rocked against the ropes and not throwing back. Fair stoppage in my eyes.

I agree. Lopez wasn't badly hurt, but he wasn't fighting back and he was rocked.
