Re: Tyson fury - David Haye off, Haye told to consider retirement.
and as far as the last bit goes, even tho the language makes it hard to believe and I don't remember him explaining any of this when he gave up the belt on channel 5, ill accept a dispute between promoters/promotions is the reason the fight didn't happen
there are other debateable aspects such as why he gave up the belt, if they were so confident they were offering more money it seems a contradiction that they gave it up in case they lost the purse bids, and plenty of fighters "duck" out of fights after purse bids, it was furys belt
and saying they would never fight price whilst Maloney was involved also seems like a weak excuse, theyd end up fighting no one if they refused to fight anyone every time they didn't like someone
the injuries to haye seem a lot more believeable to me

Then come back with something that suggests furys back out of the price fight was more legit
in furys words -
1 Maloney offers amount A
2 the furys say we have more to offer in amount B
3 no resolution
4 fury drops belt in case it goes to purse bids
yet surely if it goes to purse bids amount B is still bigger than amount A so fury would get what he wants
unless of course someone comes up with amount C which would have to be bigger than amount A and amount B to win the bid, and that would mean fury would get even more
?
if haye did fake the injury to back out of the fury fight then fury should learn from that the next time he wants to avoid a fight because the way he went about it seems very fishy
Re: Tyson fury - David Haye off, Haye told to consider retirement.
So is the fight off then ?
