The best I've seen in a while.

That was huge for the career of both guys although you hope Molina is OK after all that.
The real loser is Thurman. How the fuck do you follow that?
Re: Showtime Fight Night: Thurman vs Diaz ~ Matthysse vs Molina
For being such a sorry ref Pat Russell has ref some great fights. This one. Rafael Marquez-Israel Vazquez 3. Marco Antonio Barrera-Kennedy McKinney, Tim Bradly-Ruslan Provodnikov, Brandon Rios-Mike Alvarado 1, Joel Casamayor-Nate Campbell, Oscar Larios-Israel Vazquez 2
Re: Showtime Fight Night: Thurman vs Diaz ~ Matthysse vs Molina
Lol @ Molina asking Matthysee to fight him again in the parking lot and Matthysse responding with, "Manana(tommorow)?"

I'm not much of a wagon jumper but I'm jumping onto Molina's after that performance and class interview. I doubt we've heard the last of him. Hard to believe Lucas outweighed him by 4 pounds tonight.
Re: Showtime Fight Night: Thurman vs Diaz ~ Matthysse vs Molina
Matthysse with the 15 hit ending combo haha!!!!
Re: Showtime Fight Night: Thurman vs Diaz ~ Matthysse vs Molina
I was impressed by the turn around. Molina was trying to set traps by taking the first shot and then coming back with the hook. Lucas started throwing the shot, then bringing the glove back to guard the head and then countered the counter. You have to love when a guy regarded as a slugger shows some adaptation and evolves before your eyes.
PS. anyone have a rehydrated weight for Molina?

Brilliant fight that though

He looked enormous compared to Matthysse. I bet Matthysse kicks his manager's arse after putting him in with a guy that tall with that reach and power. He's definitely going to be on Showtime again. Another Soto Karass crowd-pleasing TV fighter.

He is a compliment to the sport. Don't mean in skill, perfect execution..bjut the stuff that makes your gut churn in a fight. His comeback on Mickey Bey is watchable 10 times over
Re: Showtime Fight Night: Thurman vs Diaz ~ Matthysse vs Molina
Thurman worries me when he goes all WWE in interviews, talking 3rd person and best there is :-X
Re: Showtime Fight Night: Thurman vs Diaz ~ Matthysse vs Molina
Thurman needs to f'n relax...leaving himself wide open, but its fun
