Sure he was blowing big time, some rounds he varely made it out alive!;D
You do relaise that Blackwell is still being tended to by doctors?
An unfit Eubank did that because he was blowing so hard he couldnt land punch after punch:rolleyes:
Yeah I realise because I watched the fight...and for round after round like you admit he could not stop Blackwell, a fighter supposedly levels below him. Eubank is there to be hit and would do well to last a couple rounds with Golovkin.
Couldnt stop him? Have you been drinking?
Blackwell is in the worst shape hes ever been in unfortunately and thats not down to headbutting a wall. Unfortunately for him his promotor put him in with Eubank jr.
Its strange how Golovkin is seen as a wrecking achine but "round after round"
couldn't stop British level Murray yet Eubank looks more impressive and somehow he doesnt recieve the same plaudits.
Golovkin stopped him in the 11th and would destroy Eubank absolutely no question;)

So now it's Blackwell's promoters fault ? Blackwell took way too much punishment but carried on throwing. I am not the ref in the ring and so am not about to pretend otherwise. Murray is not Blackwell and Eubank does not look more impressive than Golovkin, to anyone but you. And you are asking if I have been drinking? At this time you have to be worried about Blackwell, but the fact that Eubank could not spark him out when he was so easy to hit is not some vindication of Eubanks power, quite the opposite.

I cant see Blackwell fighting again and his trainer needs to take some blame.
Everyone knows Eubank loves the right uppercut and even said he would be using it but Blackwell almsot took every one! With a chin and an engine and accuracy that Eubank has if you dont get knocked out your going to get hurt.
Chudinov, OSullivan and now Blackwell. They just couldnt get out the way of those combinations.
Golovkin will struggle badly with Eubank. Eubank is the only fighter out there with the attributes to trouble Golovkin.
His head mivement is coming on as well. Shades of his dad riding shots and subtle slips and feints with the head. Still getting better every fight. Saunders had to swallow broken glass to give him any credit and listen to the commentators praise him and remind Saunders that Eubank wa sinexperienced and started slow, intimating it would be very different now.
Re: Nick Blackwell vs Chris Eubank Jnr
Hughie wins unanimus decision over 10 rounds.
Re: Nick Blackwell vs Chris Eubank Jnr
Been out tonight, so I've just caught up with this fight. @ross , you are a fucking comedian. When I asked you why you haven't been dangling from Eubank's balls recently, you said it was a shitty old British title fight, nothing to get excited about. Now all of a sudden, Eubank wins this "nothing special" fight and he's Superman and .........
"Golovkin will struggle badly with Eubank. Eubank is the only fighter out there with the attributes to trouble Golovkin."
Is Golovkin or any of the World Champs gonna just let Eubank load up with that crude uppercut? Golovkin is way too classy for this twat , trust me. Saunders already proved he can outbox Eubank, Jacobs will do the same , that's why team Eubank didn't want the fight, and well, as for Canelo, as far as MW goes, he can go fuck himself and keep fighting pricks like Khan.
Re: Nick Blackwell vs Chris Eubank Jnr
Just seen the eubank fight 1st off hope that Blackwell is OK guy took a bad amount of punishment. Eubank looked good last night think he destroys Saunders in a re match and also think he beats Jacobs but right now I think GGG would win eubank does look very good but he takes too much time in between combos and although he has a great chin he does take too many shots for my liking. Think he's still a few fights away from challenging GGG
Re: Nick Blackwell vs Chris Eubank Jnr
Blackwell is too tough for his own good, ! I had a feeling Jr would handle him the same way as Spike
and I was pretty much right. Nick is a hell of a tough fighter but those uppercuts were wicked and
he took far to many punches to the head,! I don't think that fight has done him any good I felt after
7 rounds he had enough punishment.
Jr just out boxed Nick but he made it competitive by catching Jr with some good punches, I could
see the refs point as Blackwell was still punching back it was sickening the last few rounds, way to many
punches to the head, I hope he has a short stay in hospital and he is okay.!
Nick Blackwell what a warrior.:appl:
Re: Nick Blackwell vs Chris Eubank Jnr
Blackwell showed tremendous heart and courage last night. Ironically if Eubank had not been showboating at the end I do the think the referee would have stopped the fight. The lull in action allowed the ref to stop the fight and call the doctor, who stopped the fight.
Re: Nick Blackwell vs Chris Eubank Jnr
Blackwell has been placed in an induced coma!!!:(
I didnt see this but he actually collapsed which is why they took him out on a stretcher. I thought they just did that as a precaution!
Gary Lockett should take flak for that as his trainer. You arent going to chin Eubank who has his dads resilience, not that late in the fight when you are tired. He was way behind and his head looked like a nodding dog. Locketts pride I think is more what he was thinking about than his fighters here.

Some of the blame? All of the blame. He should have been pulled out at the end of the 8th. Hed lost every round bar one which I generously gave to him and was clearly not going to get back into the fight. In my mind Lockett didnt do his job and Blackwells family should press charges against him for negligence.
As for Golovkin Ross you are way off the mark. Eubank is fighting puddings. His only class opponent he lost (albeit close) and that fighter is not in the same stratosphere as Golovkin.

Youre right he should have been pulled earlier. I thought the CH5 commentary was particularly bad, they were watching a different fight to me.
Re: Nick Blackwell vs Chris Eubank Jnr
Eubank is a good talent. He could have made it much easier but chose to go to war with the very brave but limited Blackwell.
I agree that the commentators were poor, with the exception of Richie Woodhall, who I always rate for his technical input.
Talk of Golovkin is very premature at this point of Eubank's career. I see Eubank being a genuine world level threat in two of three years, by which time GGG will probably be gone
Anyway, my thoughts are with Blackwell and his family.
Re: Nick Blackwell vs Chris Eubank Jnr
Like everybody, my primary thoughts are with Blackwell and I hope he makes a speedy recovery.
I know emotions run high and we have very much a blame culture in this day and age, but I think it's extremely harsh to start laying the blame with the referee or Gary Lockett.
I thought the ref was excellent all night, and I genuinely think Lockett thought Eubank was tiring and that's what they had planned for. I don't think he realised how much it had taken out of Blackwell, and Blackwell is clearly a proud man.
Lockett works with Blackwell day in, day out, and would probably feel like he is a part of his family. He will naturally feel terrible right now, and I don't think it helps anyone to start throwing wild statements around.
