That first connected left hook by Stevens just missed the sweet spot. An inch shorter and we'd be watching the 2nd fight already.

Curtis stevens is certainly fun to watch, dont think he is that great, seems a bit rigid and tries to force too much but he is a lot of fun to watch ! He gives out a lot of damage but takes it too!
De la Rosa is one tough cookie. He's taken some HUGE shots and is firing back. Great scrap so far!
I didn't realize that Stevens was supposed to be a decorated amateur. He has always looked like a strong guy with little skill. He gets outboxed by anybody decent that he fights.
What is that on Stevens' left shoulder? Is that a birthmark?
He has a horrible punching technique though. He telegraphs everything.Quote:
