Re: James DeGale v Badou Jack - Sky Sports
I think the promotors ike degale maybe more than jack, even if jack is promoted by mayweather, I would think they see more money in having de gale taking on anthony dirrell , which would make a pretty fun fight, de gale certainly has a few good options right now

There isn't going to be a rematch. Jack is off to 175 and DeGale will stay at 168. Not enough money to make it on the Joshua undercard anyway.
Ain't there a way they could both mutually agree to go again all in for the belts at a catchweight. If both guys are happy why not?
Haymon/Mayweather obviously have plans for him at 175. There's no way they're going to risk letting him fight in England. Not going to happen. Both sides will be happy with that. Jack gets to go to pastured new unbeaten and DeGale is the man at 168.
Re: James DeGale v Badou Jack - Sky Sports
Can see a Jack staggering Stevenson but may find it tough go at 175. Only one guy needs rematch when it comes to what actually happened. DeGale can have all the push but he soaked up a lot of damage tonight. I think Ramirez can beat him rough should he feel froggy. Jack leaving looks worse for him
Re: James DeGale v Badou Jack - Sky Sports
Degale can either push for the rematch in the UK on the Joshua v Klitschko card in front of 90,000 people at Wembley Stadium or go the other way and fight Smith instead at Wembley on the same night.
I'd bet A LOT of money that Eddie Hearn and Floyd Mayweather hook up in the next 12-24 hours and have a proper good chat about the possibility.
It's no secret Floyd loves and is loved in the UK either and especially in London, trust me i've seen it with my own eyes when i met him at the Peacock Gym in East London about 8-9 years ago.
It was a fucking roadblock.... thousands of people outside waiting to try and see him, i turned up late and thought fuck this so rang the Gym and lied saying i was working for Saddoboxing to do an interview and they sent some guys out to meet me and let me in through the side entrance ;D
True Story that
A Lot of Brits are gonna watch the re run as it's being replayed 2-3 times later today for free not PPV and will see Gervonta Davis fight and instantly love him.
I can see Floyd Bringing some fighters over to the UK for sure in the near future 100% ;)

Jack definitely looked the boss, looked harder and fresher
But I thought the draw was right, de gale won 3 out of the first 4 and 3 out of the last 4 and jack the rest
Plus a Knock down each draw simples
Re: James DeGale v Badou Jack - Sky Sports
This was much better than Ward vs kovalev and both warriors showed everything tonight.
I wanted degale to win and had him winning the fight earlier on but jack landed the cleaner punches and the bodywork was spot on.
Possibly a draw going into the last round but after the knockdown it was jacks fight and he should have won.
Degale has the movement and footwork, but just like with dirrell he gets sloppy and jack was blocking far more shots than degale.
Jack was solid tonight but does he beat an Andre Ward..No way.
The best fighter in the world is the winner of Ward vs Kovalev 2..
Re: James DeGale v Badou Jack - Sky Sports
Eubank Jnr needs to step up, stop fucking about and start mixing with these guys, we soon see if he carries true KO power at SMW and if he does i think he can mix it with any of these lot ;)
His Chin looks solid so far and his work rate is insane.
In Hindsight Degale looked tired/drained of energy which is what Eddie Hearn said straight after the fight, he's such a naturally slick, fast and gifted fighter when he actually boxes, i'd say 60% of his punches between 4-11 rounds just hit Jack on the gloves or arms.
Frustrates me when he kind of gets sucked into a tear up after a good 2-3 opening rounds where it's clear if he just kept it up he'd win by a landslide.
He seems to love doing the Ali moves... back against the ropes taking a shitload of head shots trying to prove he's the tougher fighter.
Can't knock his heart and it's brilliant to watch him in a fight like that but you just know he's got the tools to make it so much easier for himself.
