I think the fight is the same at either weight, I'd now give the slight edge to mayweather, he did take some solid blows from Baldomir and I was impressed his chin. I was not impressed however, by the 3rd man in the ring, fucking Jay Nayweather.

at the lower weights he fought the lot and was a class act.. full respect to that guy but this bigger version is a fake

he didnt do lightwelter he took out a shot Gatti.... and sneaked past it you cant go in that division ((the best division at the time)) without taking on hatton or cotto but saying that the judah fight was a good matchup just a shame he had to wait till he got beaten by baldy to see it as a viable fight.

Impressive stats. I'd like to see RBR stats, especially the last 3 rounds. And I thought Vegas scored aggression. Not when HBO is in town. They did a similar thing to Zab with the round scoring, they'd probably do the same to Hatton. Yes it looks like I've been taking huge gulps of hatorade before I got to my keyboard, Mayweather was absolutly dazzling, but there was also a lot not to like about his tactics being so negative, but more so the officiating ticked me off the most. i dont know if it was covered already but PBF and Larry Merchant got into drama at the end. Larry was criticizing PBF saying he was booed and peeps started to leave(Tiger Woods, Winky, Charles Barkley) hahaha. PBF got pissed and said stick to commentating you dont know anything about boxing.

also Larry and Jim would not shut the F up about GARLIC in GILROY where GHOST is from. Oh yeah he lost by the way.

Just great. Floyd beats another much less skilled and much slower opponent...and we all are going to have to hear what a "genius" of a fighter he is. Floyd just beat the universally recognized Welter of the world....whether he had 9 losses or 0 losses we cant say 1 day that Baldi is 190 offseason and 18-0 in his last 8 years and has a granite chin and his losses came earlier when he was fighting for food and was taking fights with no notice so he couldnt train..Blah Blah and say that he will give Floyd all kinds of trouble.....................Then all of a sudden say well Baldi had 9 losses big deal...When the Majority of the forum annointed him the Latest Mayweather Slayer just like Coralles, Castillo, Gatti , Judah were...I mean give Floyd a break

He put on a masterful defensive showing and I swear his defense is improving everytime out... Not to mention most fighters would have been stopped with those punches

I know he fought a bum but his handspeed is ridiculous and his ability 2 fight on the inside and outside is just scary...he throws pinpoint shots and very short punches for a guy his size...He is a friggin Giant

I don't see it in Williams, for a while I thought he would be great, but his power is overrated and his defense is leaky.

Doesn't mean I think he's shit, he's not, but I doubt he really makes it. He's got a lot of confidence, which is good, but he almost has too much, doesn't really worry about other people's shots and that's not good, anybody can be knocked out. But its hard to tell much about him from tonight since he fought an absolute no hoper.

Margarito-Williams would be good, I don't think of Margarito as highly as El Gamo does, but I'd pick Margarito.

I feel you. While I'll admit that Baldomir was not a challenge. In reality he's a club fighter. Fighting him was a waste. But as much as I disliked the match up, the fact that he was the linear champion is the reason why it was hard to really knock Mayweather for fighting him. That and the fact that I don't really think much of Margarito. Also keep in mind that the welterweight division is not exactly strong right now. Truth be told I think it would be in Floyd's best intrest to fight at 140. But I won't say it cuz it would prevent the one fight I really want for Mayweather. And thats Mayweather-Mosley. As for Hatton? Unlike Calzaghe, I actually do have respect for Hatton. I don't think he can beat Floyd. And I don't fault him for moving back down to 140. That don't bother me. What bothers me is that he went back on his word and didn't give Collazo his rematch. Why tell a fighter to his face you'll give him his rematch and than not do it. It's not like Collazo was undeserving. It was a very close fight. I never called Hatton a coward. But this was something that was hard to understand. Think about it. He vacated a championship that was earned in a hard fight to move back down in weight and fight Urango? How can Hatton fans not knock him for it?

After reading 3 reports & the rd. by rd. this was probably as boring as the Sergei-Briggs fight.
So was the money worth it?

he is the naz of his era.... looking great at weigh but avoiding all the best fighters at this higher weight...

at the lower weights he fought the lot and was a class act.. full respect to that guy but this bigger version is a fake

he didnt do lightwelter he took out a shot Gatti.... and sneaked past it you cant go in that division ((the best division at the time)) without taking on hatton or cotto but saying that the judah fight was a good matchup just a shame he had to wait till he got beaten by baldy to see it as a viable fight.
