Nah babe...I aint that close. That were Wacko's intentions...but seats that close were $8,000 to $10,000 & I couldn't hash that out.

My seats on the 17 row back. Good enough for me & $2,000 worth. Christ almighty I still can't believe I dished that shit out.

I was literally sitting on the gotdam phone for 45 minutes before they went on sale to get that ticket.

its gonna be an awsome fight though, hopefully mayweather ll put on a real show considering its his 'last fight' and all cause De la Hoya aint gonna have the speed or stamina to cause Floyd any real trouble, no matter how hard hes training the to year layoff will affect him especially considering ho little he had to do against mayorga.

I know Floyd keeps saying it's his last fight, but it's complete BS. If he wins, there is NO WAY that this is his last fight. There's too much money to be made. He's reached the level where he's getting paid 8-10 million a fight, he's not going to retire when he still has his skills.

Thing is...the only 8-10 million bankable fights would be against the likes of Cotto, Hatton, or maybe Margarito.

Flyod's goal is to become a household name?! I agree about wanting to get the attention...but he will NEVER have that wide appeal and popularity of Oscar. He half heartedly tries to be likable but always reverts to being brash. And the 24/7 series did nothing to help his "popularity"....at least not in the good sense. He comes across as an arrogant, abrasive personality who likes to carry large sums of cash in his pockets and gamble. I almost feel like he might have pinned himself in the "villain" role for the rest of his career. I also think he is full of bs about retiring...but he just doesn't have the persona or even style of fighting to make him a mega star. As great a fighter as he is...as technically sound...as fast....his style does not capture the hearts of a huge audience. Not hating on his fighting style...but that is just reality. That is why in some ways Floyd could be in a lose-lose situation on Saturday night. Does he put on a technical masterwork that will most likely bore/irritate the majority of the mainstream audience who normally wouldn't shell out $60 to see a fight...or will he try and go toe to toe with a bigger/stronger fighter and potentially get hurt. Oscar...whether you love or hate him....win or lose....will come out of all this still the superstar. Will he be the old veteran who shocked us all by beating the young p4p champ....or will he be the old veteran who valiantly fought the best fighter in the world but came up short.....either way...he will leave this fight richer and more popular than ever. But hey...maybe Floyd doesn't care about stuff like that...maybe he is being truthful about keeping it "real"...highly doubtful....but as it stands right now...if he wants to achieve that superstardom that Oscar has...he needs to go about it a completely different way.

good post mate, i agree pretty much with all of it. This, in my opinion has to be Floyd's biggest fight in his career, and with so much interest, I think it's almost inevitable that he will become a household name. He'll ride Oscar's coattails to it, what with Oscar being the big-name promoter and big-name attraction of this one. If Oscar wins it will be a shock, but with the way Floyd presents himself, not an entirely unpopular one.

dude buy one of those really small black dot cameras that they use to see who ate the last donut at the office and all that stuff. Its in black and white and without looking at the footage theres no way of telling what you're recording just say you are a kid suffering from a rapid aging disease and that the black dot is a cancerous and really shiny tumor that your going to have removed and seeing this fight was your make-a-wish. Be advised tho that this is vegas and they have heard probably every story imagineable and some you can't.

Oscar could change the fight with one punch and has the size and power advantage that could end Flyod if he stays inside and fights stupid or lets his guard down. The thing is is that Flyod is not a dumb fighter on the contrary he is a very smart disciplined fighter. He is so well conditioned and is so disciplined and focused i dont think he will let his guard down or fight Oscars fight so im taking PBF in a unanimous decision.
