I agree. I hate watching him fight and after listening to his "spiritual partner in Christ" I want to see him get starched.
He's just not good. Randall Bailey has Antwun Echols legs. And he still couldn't miss with his right hand and Urango still couldn't put him away.
Paulie Malignaggi should camp out in front of Urango's gym. He 12-0's him.

You should go to the casino tonight soothsayer ;D
Good fight,Urango caught up to him and Baileys legs left. That should be it for Bailey but pure power punchers believe they always have one last bullet.

Re: Juan Urango vs. Randall Bailey
atlas actually had it a 50/50 fight until then, lol
i swear teddy watches these fights with stars and stripes tinted glasses on
I bet he scored both lewis-holyfield fights 120-108 for evander ;D;D;D

Re: Juan Urango vs. Randall Bailey
No he doesn't. He's just a bad judge. But Bailey was winning till the 9th.

Absolutely spot on. You know what, no disrespect to the guy but he's dreadful, straight up. He's a wreckin ball with a pair of boxing gloves on and that is it. I've seen better punch technique from guys outside my local club throwin windmill punches.... Not everyone is taken with Hatton, but he handled Urango no sweat atall.....

Re: Juan Urango vs. Randall Bailey
Baileys wife vs Urangos...mismatch :-X

I had Urango behind after that 10-7 round.
-
Re: Juan Urango vs. Randall Bailey
Well, at least Bailey can console himself with the better looking wife, I would run through that hard :o
I don't have the same negative view of Urango as others, I can't stand his style, but he's a tough bastard & a long way from being a shit world champ, his performance getting off the floor tonight proved that. I wouldn't mind seeing him fight Bradley, although it might end up a Berto repeat.
-
Re: Juan Urango vs. Randall Bailey
Great fight, Bailey was in it for a while as he was no pushover and a tough customer. Was it me or was Urango a terrible finisher.
-
Re: Juan Urango vs. Randall Bailey
Well the fights are over. Time for me to piss some people off in COD4. Nade spamming time.

Re: Juan Urango vs. Randall Bailey
I'd like to see:
Cloud vs Johnson
Cloud vs Pascal

Re: Juan Urango vs. Randall Bailey
Good on Urango for getting the stoppage. He is incredibly slow and plodding, but he's done remarkably well considering the tools he uses.
I was most of all impressed with Urango's eye. That is quite the slash across the face and totally closed. Urango deserves credit for getting up and finishing strong.
Decent win for him. Spiritual partner? That's what they call it these days? ;D

Re: Juan Urango vs. Randall Bailey
what do you guys think of the Daigo Nakahiro vs Hidenobu Honda fitght? Think it goes the distance? think Daigo wins?
-
Re: Juan Urango vs. Randall Bailey
Hello captain blanket statements!
Maybe nobody has EVER gotten up from that Bailey right hand I don't know.

Re: Juan Urango vs. Randall Bailey

Re: Juan Urango vs. Randall Bailey

I gave Bailey two rounds: the first and the kd 10-8 round. Different strokes for different folks.
To the Urango bashers, I was down on him after the ben Rabah fight. but after seeing him keep doing his thing...one directional, no sass just seek and destroy I give him a lot of credit.
He doesnt take the easy way. He took more damage and showed more heart in that fight than a lot of fighters wouldve.

Re: Juan Urango vs. Randall Bailey
Urango is very one dimentional and the gameplan to beat him is simple, but his tougness and persistance plus his power makes him a dificult guy to fight. Hes not a bad champion at all imo. He does his thing and earned his titles. Good guy too.

He could have fought blind imo and had near the same result. lol Walk forward and throw bombs! Hope they hit! Rinse Repeat.

Urango/Baldomir at 147 what do you think?

I'll be surprised if Nakahiro loses. I got him taking an UD win
-
Re: Juan Urango vs. Randall Bailey
Baldomir is a better fighter with just as good a chin. Hes past it now though. Zab id like to see
-
Re: Juan Urango vs. Randall Bailey
Is it me or does Urango and Timothy B look like two different weight classes ?.....I'd pick Bradley over distance.

I've no problem with those guys, these guys are the Rocky style underdogs who we tell ourselves we'd root for, but when they do acheive further than their physical abilities say they should we label them as crap
I'm with BoomBoom, Urango is a basic fighter with little tactical awareness or technical ability, but damn if there is more than 5 guys in the sport who are tougher & more persistant I'd like to see em.
-
Re: Juan Urango vs. Randall Bailey
I'd like to see Urango - Campbell.

I don't know about being top five persistent (obviously that's hard to define) but he is tough.
I just don't think he's very good and he bores me. I'll get over it. ;D He did win me some points in the contest. Edit-Haha I'm in first place through the first three fights of this weekend. 3 for 3, woot.

I think that sounds like a more exciting fight than Mayweather-Marquez

Re: Juan Urango vs. Randall Bailey
both men were hurt in that fight.

Re: Juan Urango vs. Randall Bailey
if not for how hard bailey hit he would be such a boring guy to watch . I mean no left hook, uppercut, jab, pretty much no boxing period. The guy just throws right hand bomb after right hand bomb. It's still kinda cool though how good he's gotten over time blinding and distracting guys with his left. Both figerora and urango never saw the fuckers coming till they rewatched the tape. But for christs sake bailey you gotta throw something freakin else ..........I mean something, or I just don't see the guy gettin another belt or big payday.
