maidana took the last 2 for me floyd didnt do shit i got this like 8 4 pr 7 5 at worst just didnt do enough in early or late rounds, he got most of the mid rounds but watch 118 112 or some shit

Considering the shots both guys took, it's amazing there were no knockdowns or even a good stagger across the ring...

I didn't see the first 3 rounds, assuming Maidana took those clearly I'd have still had it 7-5 Floyd. Great fight though. Almost feels like the rematch was in the cards though, with all that post fight crap:detective:

I had Floyd winning 115-113. I think 117-111 is a little insulting to the great work Maidana did.

It's exactly the same score card as the Alvarez fight and we all know Canelo barely won a round, yet Maidana gets this shitty treatment for a great fight. Mayweather got old in this fight. He could be done.

That one judge fair enough, but 117-111? That is a joke, that fight did not happen. 8-4 Floyd too? It is gibberish. Sure, Showtime was closer, but they were off too. I want to see how non-judges and non paid for staff have it. Floyd got away with it there and didn't look very good. I had one bad round on my stream, but from the 11 clear rounds, Floyd was always behind.

Shame on Bernstein talking like he is. I had always thought him better than this too. :rolleyes:

Most people and sites I've seen seem to have Floyd winning 115-113. Very close fight. Kudos to Floyd for weathering the storm and turning the tables. He was getting hit a lot and got cut but he turned it around to get the W.

In reality, Floyd now has 2 losses.

Fought stupid tonight and truly won 4 or 5 rounds. 6 if u give him every swing round n then some.

After tonight with Floyd looking human and Khan looking impressive (against limited oppo) you'd have to say Floyd-Khan could be more than interesting. Boxing is fucking weird.

I had Floyd something like 5-1 down halfway through. Even if he wins every round after it's still a 7-5 fight. Maidana looked like he came back in the last two after Mayweather worked back in the middle. I need to watch it again, ASAP, as it was an odd and fascinating fight. I particularly want to observe the knee kick, which looked rather illegal.

yup, i agree. i gave floyd 4 or 5 rds tops.

That was f'n awesome! Maidana made a fan out of me. I watched with a friend and his girlfriend. Spent the undercard explaining hook, check hook, lead, counter, jab etcetera. Moved on to ring generalship, defense etcetera. By the Khan fight she's yelling art the ref to take points for holding. She's a keeper. Everyone loved the main event. I called the cards except I thought the 117-111 would be a 115-113. Floyd won a exciting tough fight and Maidana is the man!

I don't know, I could have seen a draw with that fight. granted, I fell asleep a couple rounds but the judges often due so I'm up to par.. Good fight, Maidana much better than I anticipated. Floyd had to work for the victory which I haven't seen for awhile. If there is a rematch in Sept. it will probably benefit Floyd but if we are lucky maybe we can see a Broner Reese 2 on the undercard.
