Well, I don't recall you ever posting a 'photo or anything - is it a generic insult as you are American (like your ones about European teeth)?
I don't know....I'm not sure.
<--That's me right there
Here is a thought.
After what has happened to Iraq - ie being invaded because the US and our Government lied and said they had WMD - isn't it ironic that the ony way to dissuade the same thing from happening to your country is to ACTUALLY have WMD.
Funny that, now we have North Korea and Iran both pursuing the nuclear option only months after they were names on Bush's 'axis of evil'. Once Iran have it, so will Hezbollah. Then the Saudi's will say they need it and probably be given it. The Syrians and Jordanians will get it leaked to them. I wonder if the Israelis will consider pre-emptive strikes (after all, they don't have mch history of diplomatic negotiations or forebearance)
America will be the prime target for the setting off of a 'dirty bomb'. With so many people with the technology, they will not be able to tell whose it is, so they will make something up and attack someone without WMD again.
It seems that the end of the cold war has produced another era of nuclear profileration, brought on by our short sighted and stupid leaders.
a couple of political analysts have said the same. have you been watching newsnight?
No, I'm much too thick to watch that (and would not just have regurgitated something I heard on TV and posted it here as if it was an original thought). I watch Family Guy on the other side. Perhaps this is an example of convergent thinking? Don't wind me up enough to post the theory of convergent evolution on a certain other thread on here ;DQuote:

Suprised but impressed. That was a pretty accurate assessment of the media in this country.Quote:

It's insane. The democrats in this country have gone mad. But the real problem is the way that we live without restraint and our fascination with what the Red hot chilli peppers called "californication". Trying to live up to these hollywood phonies..dress like them, drive cars like them, imagery imagery imagery. To me it makes no sense to look up to people who aren't real.
We sacrifice family values for a thrill....everyone's out F****** everyone...Daddy's doing his secretary and working on his powerboat while mom is screwing the lawnboy and going to nightclubs on Saturday nights with girlfriends. Then Junior is left unsupervised with the internet and the television (pop-culture) to raise him. He eats excessively, plays games excessively, watches porn excessively whist mom frets about looking like the hollywood tabloid queens and dad perfects his golf stroke.
Then mom or dad get bored and leave the family unit, and junior gets visitation privilleges.
We are the Romans all over again....they kept getting bored and needing more shock value for entertainment.......more blood in the colliseum.
We need more more more more cheating housewife shows, more taboo no-no's on the television, more scandals in the tabloids, more smut while our senses slowly dull and our values recede.
Where is it all going?? You are witnessing the begining of a slow extinction of the nuclear family right now.
Don't get me wrong, there is no other country I would rather live in
BUT it could be so much better if we worked on our values starting inside the home!
IF we just showed a little F****** constraint be it at the dinner table or on the television
IF we taught our children how to eat right, speak right, and treat others right.
IF we put our children ahead of ourselves instead of forcing them into a role reversal...where because
we act like children, they must be forced to be adults early.
Portion control, drug use, academic issues, these are all things that need to be stressed in the home.
Family values are the key!!!!!
It starts in the home.
F*** what a rant!!!

That's my point, family values. To me having a child means that you have to put that child's needs above your own. I just see too many people these days putting their own needs above their family's needs and I have in turn seen the reprecusions of this.
Some of it is to be blamed on corporate America, keeping people away from their families all day, but still I see a lot of folks, moms and dads where I live moving through life as if they are undiscovered talent and their families are a burden to them.
absolutely correct ! I could not agree more mate ! Great read ! cool click again in 24
