look he even had costume changes and did like 5 different speeches and has like 4 different weapons and no one like thought this was odd he was taping himself in the middle of a hallway?????

He didn't make the video during the two hours between the two separate killing sprees, he just posted it during that time. There was lots of quicktime videos, an audio clip, photographs and a huge multi-page rant about what was on his mind... something like 1,800 words long.
The police/FBI are investigating whether the pictures where taken by another person, or self-timer.

It is possible that he may have recorded something in the time period between the killing sprees, but not much. Most of the footage was apparently recorded at least six days in advance.

I'm sure he was pretty careful, waited until times when he knew nobody was around. In some of the footage you can see he recorded walking down a hallway in first person. The block pattern on the walls looks similar to the pattern in this pic:

Pretty risky thing to do! Standing in a hallway at Uni, waving guns around and getting your picture taken. I'm sure if somebody saw it, they would say something. ;)
