I believe that PAulie did what is swiftly becoming known as "doing a Duddy", ie getting within one fight of a huge superfight and then blowing it by failing to perform and exposing himself as undeserving of a shot.

Malignaggi getting the shears taken to his hair mid fight is easily one of the funniest things ever to happen in boxing. I mean how bizarre you couldn't make that up if you tried ahah oh wow.
