Re: ESPN's FNF's Mack Vs. Henry
Mack looked good, boxed well from what I saw although I mostly had the window closed and just listened whilst I chatted online.
Still a good win for him
Re: ESPN's FNF's Mack Vs. Henry
Split decision, and a good fight.
Congrats Yusaf on the win! :)
Looked tired finishing it up, not sure if the wind or Henry's punches were wearing down.

It was the shots to the back of the head.
He stuck to my game plan and he won, thats really all I care about.
Unless of course all those shots to the back of the head hurt him, then obviously I care about something else, but I wont know that until tests are run, because he took alot of them.
Re: ESPN's FNF's Mack Vs. Henry
You're game plan, huh.
Ya might need to share a little of that glory with John Tandy and Yusaf. Just saying. :p
And Mack stopped throwing immediately after the round where he was loading up and throwing all out right after right. How Henry made it through that..I'm not sure. But it was pretty obvious it cost Yusaf his endurance and he was in trouble with it for a bit.
He did find more gas to finish though.
Re: ESPN's FNF's Mack Vs. Henry
Just a heads up guys, Mack fought with an injury was nearly pulled out before the fight. He came to camp with a damaged left elbow swollen the size of a baseball, we had 5 rounds in sparring with an amateur for the whole camp so although he worked hard on his fitness he was not match fit, and that was in the last week of camp and he hurt his elbow again. He damaged his elbow again in the 2nd round, if you notice the corner the ice bag was on his elbow rather than on his neck. So no excuses but I think the boy did pretty well considering.

I think he did very well. Dominated the fight until the 7th and then started to give it back some. He dug deep though and truly won it.
Henry has a seriously tough melon on him.
Congrats to him and you John, barron et el.
Re: ESPN's FNF's Mack Vs. Henry
Thanks man, am interested in the fight plan from Trainer Monkey though, neither me or Yusaf saw it, glad we managed to stick to it though, ha ha

That's cool are you training Mack via phone and email as well now TM?
Did you take your $20 cut this time or are you still waiving it as a goodwill gesture?
How did Mack cope on the regime of 3 mile run, 5 (marine) pushups and 5 bodyweight squats per day? I guess he must have been putting in the work based on tonights showing. Good job :)

Congrats on the win. He looked good, but his endurance did look suspect. However, if his camp was limited, that would certainly explain things. However, there are always going to be questions surrounding his stamina until he can prove otherwise.
The times Henry hit him flush, his chin looked good as well. Anyways, good work. I look forward to seeing Mack fight again.

Im so sorry I forgot to mention the X10 part to you,now if youve been mollified...............
Yeah I consulted on this one,I caught a major flaw in Henry's game going over tape, and Mack used it all night, and it worked almost every time.
Re: ESPN's FNF's Mack Vs. Henry
Thanks for all the support guys, not been on here much mainly due to the fact Yusaf had such a limited camp, regarding the injury etc, I am not going to come on and say things were going great, we needed to keep it under wraps obviously. As I said he worked his butt off with his cardio but to jump in and do 12 rounds with pretty much no sparring is a tough challenge whoever you are, so again expect another improvement next time out.
TM maybe you want to send your consultancy to me next time, as we knew practically nothing about it, but I guess we saw some of the same things
