Wow, what a strange unexpected knockout, it looked like Darren would survive the 12 rounds.

11th round KO for Sergio, a nice workman like win, not a bad fight. :)

He had his gloves up but those punches were getting thru the middle, he may have just said fuck it tho there at the end, but who the f knows.

He got buzzed by a hook a couple seconds before the right that put him down. I think he was just gassed and hurt, and he knew he was finished so he went down. No shame in that.

From what I saw it was a pretty shitty, sloppy fight. I spent most of my time watching Marquez.

Hopkins needs to shut up about feeding HBO-GBP and focus on Dawson not Martinez...Martinez destroys Lee like a red headed step child.

Barker had a tight guard early.

Fair play on Martinez getting the win, but he looked a little bit limited for the first half. He must crack a hell of a punch though, he seems to stop everyone these days.

I thought it was a moderately interesting chess match. I thought Barke great early on, I had him winning definitely more than the one round that Harold gave him.

Martinez put on a great second half performance though and seemed to break his spirit.

The knock out was bizarre, not sure why he suddenly collapsed from the kind of punches he'd been taking all night. Disappointing end for him he looked like he was going to make it through the fight relatively unscathed.

Martinez looked good against a very smart, defensively minded fighter though and got the job done.

Hopefully a top challenger will step up and fight him soon. I think Geale would put on a gallant effort, and fights with Sturm, Chavez Jr and Lee would be entertaining.

He's not losing any of them though.
