Wlad cant deal with volume or combination punching. This is why Steward didnt want him to fight Chisora and he pulled out twice.
Andy Ruiz has some nice fluid combinations like Tyson but he doesnt have the fitness, movement or size to trouble Wlad like Tyson does.

The only way I can see fury even having a chance is if wlad completely gasses himself but that hasn't been an issue in years.
He hasnt fought anyone capable of pushing him for a while.;)
I know you think fury is special and that's your right to do so. I just don't see anything that fury does that will bother wlad, people think of wlad as robotic but he's got a really good sense of space and timing, and his footwork is great too. Fury has never fought anyone near wlad's level, while I think wlad has beaten better fighters than Fury . I guess that's why they get it on in the ring but I do wish the ref will be strict with the hugging (won't happen) as this could turn into the lamest fight ever, since wlad does it a lot but I've also seen fury just hug opponents to death (ala cunningham)
Also I do think wlad is past his peak at this point actually.
Tyson has a few things that trouble Wlad. Movement, pressure, combination punching and a good jab.
Watch the Chambers fight. He was fearless and was landing punches, it was the fearlessness and combinations that troubled Wlad. Unfortunately Chambers fitness slowed him down in the end.
Sanders combinations troubled Wlad big time. Wlad is fine as long as hes not troubled. He can deal with ones and twos but throw more and he panicks and tries to slow the action. Hes not going to be able to lean and clinch as much here and will tire because of it. Tyson isnt going to be as plodding and static as Wach.
You focus only on hat fury has, he also has a glass jaw and has never been in with a top power puncher , Wlad with ko him inside 3 rounds.
Re: Klitschko-Fury Set for October 24 in Dusseldorf, Germany
Because what Fury has is what troubles Wlad.
No one though Sanders stood a chance before hand, or Brewster, or Purrity.
Also im sure there were those who focussed on Cassius Clay getting dropped by a couple of smaller men and getting gift decisions before he faced Liston.
Re: Klitschko-Fury Set for October 24 in Dusseldorf, Germany
Brewster and Sanders are big power punchers , Wlad gassed out against Purity when he was learning his trade , fury is not a puncher and has a glass jaw, the fight will end quickly with fury counting his money and buying a new caravan after his first loss.

Like I said, the exact same thing could have been said about Clay;)
We haven't yet seen Fury go in with an opponent he has respect for but I think I can see a very, very difficult fighter to beat for anyone as did Haye;D

You are deluded by love , fury isn't going to grow a chin or gain a punch , no matter how hard he trains to lose the moobs he has.

Ross, we will never agree on the merits of Fury Versus Haye. If you are going to Germany you should be prepared for mega gamesmanship from the Klit camp. In Hamburg Haye was treated disgracefully, I was there, eventually after a three mile traffic jam to get to the arena. It was pissing with rain and Haye was left in the ring enclosure while we had a twenty minute video of Vitalis past triumphs. I tell you a normal human being would have told the promoter to sort it out or I'm fucking off and you can sort out the riot. Haye deserves the credit for going ahead and going the distance, he let himself down by publicising the toe job, which was poor, but that is history. I still believe that in correct circumstances, without every dirty trick being used to unsettle Haye, it could have been a different result. You may well experience the same shit in Germany, let us know, I hope its a FAIR fight.

Haye I should imagine is an easy man to unsettle. He seemed weak willed when matched with Fury in just the talking stakes. He was easily shut down and muted. Same with Wlad, he was too scared to sit in the same room as the magic hand. He then pulled out against Fury and again I believe from feeling the comfidence and belief in himself of Fury. It unsettled Haye.
I think there could be a chance it also unsettles zwlad even before it gets as far as fight night. I wouldnt be surprised if Wlad pulls out.

Not only is Wlad getting a hiding now he's gonna bottle it. Brilliant.

Ok, by your own logic, if he doesn't drop out, or only drops out once, does that mean that Wlad finds Chisora a scarier prospect than Fury?

We will see.
Now Steward isnt round to advise him to pull out of fights though;)
Go to 5.10 in. Steward really didnt want Wlad to fight Chisora. http://youtu.be/Izalqey4_D8
"Chisora is the most dangerous opponent Wladimir will have fought in many years, because Dereck brings energy and confidence and youthfulness that's different from what we've been fighting in recent fights," he told Sky Sports Ringside.
"I think Dereck Chisora is a very tough fight. If it was up to me, I would not fight Dereck. I would prefer to fight with David Haye.

Is there some alternate timeline here where there was a signed and scheduled fight between Fury and Price?
No, didnt think so;D
