Re: Nick Blackwell vs Chris Eubank Jnr
I think Blackwell has suffered by his teams hate if Eubanks confidence. They were desperately hoping Nick could pull something out the bag.
Yes Lockett shares some of the blame because fat Mck was stood there screaming and shouting getting iver zealous sat listening to Saunders bullshit. He could also have pulled the fight earlier.
The thing was even Saunders and the Furys who were sat with Mick all said after the fight should have been stopped a couple of rounds earlier. Now Locketts and Hennesseys "brave" decision has left Blackwell in a coma and never fighting again.
I see some of the comments on here from no nothings and dread to think if they were trainers what state their fighters would get in. "Dont worry son hes blowing out his ass, your tough as nails get out there and give it to him, he cant punch dont worry about it".

Firstly it should read "KNOW nothing's". Learn to write and spell properly , and not like a 4 year old and people might take you a bit more seriously.
Secondly, Gary Lockett has forgotten more than you'll ever know about boxing and he made the call for Blackwell to continue. It's very unfortunate and very sad, but I think we should leave them to deal with it.
Lockett is probably at Blackwell's bedside as we speak, but it's easy for you to have a pop at him while you tuck in to your Sunday roast.
Still, I don't suppose Lockett has had the experience of being told he wasn't needed as a trainer, decided to go judging and have to jack that in because he bottled it when confronted by some people for his clueless decisions.:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: as you can see, this isn't from my phone, so I can send you back some emojis .:rolleyes:
Re: Nick Blackwell vs Chris Eubank Jnr
Any NEWS on Blackwell I hope he is OKAY can't find any news on line how he is.?
Re: Nick Blackwell vs Chris Eubank Jnr
Shit just found out he has a bleed on the brain and is in a induced coma , my heart goes out to the guy
may he make a full recovery.:(
Re: Nick Blackwell vs Chris Eubank Jnr
Blackwell showed heart , but getting iced by a big puncher is sometimes the less damaging way to go , than to take a prolonged beating from a solid puncher.
Hope he makes a recovery soon.

Re: Nick Blackwell vs Chris Eubank Jnr
If Chris Eubank Jr could punch, he'd be nuclear.
He's got good skills, but he does take too many chances sometimes & takes unnecessary shots.
He's also got that annoying habit that his father had of standing back & admiring his handy work too.
He needs to sort these things out.
Re: Nick Blackwell vs Chris Eubank Jnr
To be fair to Eubank hes not fighting top world class fighters at the moment and probably feels like he can take chances because he knows he can hold a shot. I think he will box more carefull against the better fighters. Jacobs will be perfect for Eubank.
Hes an animal and bludgeoned Chudinov till the ref took pitty on him, OSullivans corner had the sense to pull him out or he would have ended up like Blackwell too.
He does have breathers but be fair, he takes it easy in portions of the fight because the opponent allows him, if he was forced to fight he could. His fitness is amazing. When he opens up he does to try and stop the opponent and throws everything! So much so everyone assumes he must have blown himself out but no, he does it again!

I think his "weaknesses" or "flaws" add to his PPV potential. He is great to watch. We took more money and bets on his fight last night then the whole Sky card combined showing he has massive selling potential.
I dont think his bad habits are a case of him knowing he can get away with them against the level of opposition he is facing and could be his down fall when stepping up. Jacobs v Eubank is a fight that needs to get made. Jacobs will certainly test Eubanks chin.
Re: Nick Blackwell vs Chris Eubank Jnr
Carry on arguing about nothing with yourself Primo. Everyone gets fed up of it.
Re: Nick Blackwell vs Chris Eubank Jnr
What Eubank said in 35:30 in the video below is interesting pre-fight.

Assuming Eubank wants it. After all, he could've fought him last night. He CHOSE not to fight Jacobs, let's not forget that.
Jacobs ko'd Quillin in the 1st round last time out. I know Quillin's career hasn't gone how it should've and I don't like his lack of professionalism, but has Eubank beaten anybody in his league? Now, is he still "made for Eubank"?
Ps. Ross , you're a twat. When you haven't got a reasonable answer or have been found out, you come out with the "pathetic" line.
How should his career have gone? Continued ducking top opposition to maintain his "0"? Quillin never beat anyone in Eubanks class either I would say yet a lot of people seemed to think he was better than Golovkin.
Re: Nick Blackwell vs Chris Eubank Jnr
Regarding the comparrisons with Golovkin.
Had it been Golovkin in with Blackwell and Eubank in with Murray would the results have been much different as to what happened to Blackwell and Murray?
