Lets get this right - Indongo is a far bigger betting outsider than McGregor to beat Floyd. The silly Floyd mismatch is considered more competitive than the super duper shiny belts fight.
Indongo didn't look like a P4P world-conqueror beating a virtual "shot" Burns. He's a tall bloke with a rinse and repeat left hand that showed a good engine in a fight he was allowed to dominate and control.
Crawford KO within 6. (7/2)
So you big up Marriaga who has 0 good wins, is 0-3 in title fights for a fight moving up in weight. But steal the shine off a guy who is trying to do what has only been done once since the 80's and is fighting in his division. The division he has won 2 titles in traveling to his opponents home towns. Interesting completely backwards perspective.
I agree that Crawford wins though, just not within 6.
Re: Terence Crawford vs. Julius Indongo ESPN
jennings and whyte win and it didnt make it to tv, Mike reed is on now v frenkel, doesnt seem like much of a contest
Re: Terence Crawford vs. Julius Indongo ESPN
I guess reed has some nice contract with top rank or something, otherwise why put this on on tv, reeed is winning easy and frankel just doesnt look that good but we are still here in the 5th round ....
bet 5 canadian quids on umbongo winning by ko, he is wild but tall and strong and crawford has become a bit complacent recently, so i think it is worth the fairly good odds, mayb ehe can land one of those weird, awkward left hands and put crawford to sleep like he did to troyanovsky.
Re: Terence Crawford vs. Julius Indongo ESPN
frankels shorts have split.... maybe the most interesting thing happening here :S.... although i guess if you squint reed looks a bit like bradley cos errr they are both black and bald :Sidk
Re: Terence Crawford vs. Julius Indongo ESPN
reed wins ud, he dominated pretty much, so well done to him but i think he will be disappointed not to get a stoppage, it was not much of a contest
Re: Terence Crawford vs. Julius Indongo ESPN
Shakur seems tentative, his opponent has nothing for him. Trying to get some work before taking him out?
Re: Terence Crawford vs. Julius Indongo ESPN
shakur stevenson on now, v an experienced but oft defeated/stopped argy, commentating team are pushing stevenson hard(ward especially)I think SS is on his way to being a top rank star whether we like it or not !
Re: Terence Crawford vs. Julius Indongo ESPN
teddy atlas is setting the table already S:
Re: Terence Crawford vs. Julius Indongo ESPN
Man you cannot replace Bradley with Ward ;D. Stevenson looks decent, bit stiff. Great they started on time.
Re: Terence Crawford vs. Julius Indongo ESPN
I think stevenson has pretty good fast hands but he doesnt seem so flexible with his upper body movement, which may be a problem(like it was for broner), he is still very young though, I like new jersey so i hope he does well.
teddy is now going to eat, the table is set, but is the larder stocked :S
Re: Terence Crawford vs. Julius Indongo ESPN
I don't know what everyone sees in Shakur, he's fast and long. I don't see much ability to dictate
Re: Terence Crawford vs. Julius Indongo ESPN
When your opponent lands less than 20 punches in the whole fight you should be able to do some damage.
Re: Terence Crawford vs. Julius Indongo ESPN
Everything off the shoulders with him and he does give ground just to watch things. Finding his way in fairness.
Re: Terence Crawford vs. Julius Indongo ESPN
And there goes Tessitore trying to Loma'nize him "you'll be hearing about him for years" :reporter:.
Re: Terence Crawford vs. Julius Indongo ESPN
I really dont like the way north americans say the name craig.. it's just weird, I dont think you guys should be allowed to name children this...
anyway i thought gvozdyk was a cruiserweight, I am drinking beer and I was wrong, he is a light heavyweight and andre ward is on commentating duty, maybe there's something in that
