New Contract
Mikel has signed a contract which will keep him at Goodison until 2012. Moyesy is chuffed. Aren't we all.
Moyesy says: "We are delighted with how he has done. He has played really, really well. We like his skills and ability but he has grown into the team ethic that we have here and I think that has been the reason he has done so well." (29/06/07)

I have ye mate who do you support Bangor FC or Rhyll haha LMFAO with a stadium capcity of 150 seats, Everton is 10x bigger than the whole wesh league put together sunny jim and for your information and we got robbed in the derby, won it last year at home, drew last year away and so we are not the second we are the first best and you've got a F****** cheek you mate, the local Sunday league footie on the field by our house is more exciting than the Welsh league haha. I wouldn't go outside our house if I supported a team in the welsh league, I'd be ashamed that much so take a look at what you got.
BTW Are any Liverpool fans out there that are actually scouse and live in Liverpool instead of the US, WALES and F*** knows where else, maybe next Slovakia??
And remember:
EVERTONIANS ARE BORN,
NOT MANUFACTURED.
WE DO NOT CHOOSE,
WE ARE CHOSEN.
THOSE WHO UNDERSTAND
NEED NO EXPLANATION,
THOSE WHO DON'T....
DON'T MATTER
EVERTON F.C. FOR LIFE, PEACE OUT.

Re: The Premiership Football thread
I suppose the teams I follow most are West Ham and Charlton, as I lived near both of them when I was at university, but I'm not a really big fan of any one team...I just like watching good football.
As for your little mantra, it sounds kinda like something the leader of a cult would drill into his little band of followers, and who knows, maybe these dudes are also Everton fans:

Ah, you dislike my referencing of a news article, or my opinion on your mantra? Either way, it certainly shows your ignorance to be dismissive of the reference, if that is what you meant, or it shows an inability to be self deprecating, if it was the second option. And for either of those traits, you have received a :sadclick:. Enjoy!

Its like me let's say supporting LA Galaxy the only MLS team I know, do you know how bad that sounds if i say that in public not setting foot in L.A. I may like them but support ::** come on anyways as you will see it's not directly aimed at Lyle it's Liverpool fans in general theres a ratio of 1:10 scousers to foreingers at Liverpool matches and cause your not from Liverpool you don't know how much Everton fans take the piss out of Liverpool fans for it, every Everton fan says oh I went to Birmingham or wherever and seen a guy with a Liverpool shirt on and we all take the piss out of them saying there everywhere and then say it to the reds and they get a big cob on lol but nobody on here will understand that so I cba going on anymore.

Re: The Premiership Football thread
another ything El Gamo you can like a fighter like I like Kelly Pavlik who's American but there's a big difference between liking a fighter in the U.S. and supporting a football team in the US.

....Does it really matter that much? I mean it ain't like ONLY guys from Liverpool play on the team, HENCE the international following.
Man United is a lot worse IMO, there's more Man U fans here and they don't know Cristiano Ronaldo or Wayne Rooney from a fucking hole in the ground.

Oh really? How's it different? If you haven't seen him LIVE and in person then by your rational you can't be a fan of his. It's not my fault it's what you brought to the conversation.
Oh and I would like for you to please explain to me in detail how it totally crushed you and all your Toffee fans when Gary McAllister dropped the boot on your asses in the 4 minute of stopage time in 2001....I believe we would all enjoy this story :thumb:

Oh there was only one person to blame for that loss and that is Rafa....they played better last year than they did when they came back from 3-0 to beat AC in penalties.
However Liverpool did MAKE IT TO THE FINALS....Everton fans do know what finals are don't they???

Of course however Everton would of beet Milan that night with Johnson ripping the arse out of old Nesta lol but a least we don't cheat ourselves to winning matches as Smicer's goal was offside in 2005. Also remember where Liverpool finished in the League in 2005 and where Everton finished ::**

Just face it Lefty, Everton aren't welcome in the champions league ;)
Plattini probably considers it a crime to humanity for Everton play in the worlds greatest club competition ;D
A competition we've won, how many times ???

5 mate I've no grudges Well done and so you should with the finances and the players you got. But 4 without cheating. ;)
Yakubu, Andy Johnson, Joleon Lescott, Tim Cahill, Mikel Arteta... there not European players O.K. thennnn and remember Everton qualified for the Champs league 2 years ago and we got beat in the 3rd qualifying round by Villarreal the eventual Semi-Finalists of that year and Collina waved off a perfect goal by Duncan Ferguson in the last 10 mins.
Were back in Europe anyway now though.

Re: The Premiership Football thread
Its quite obvious whats gonna happen this season, the Gilletts will sack Benitez from Liverpool probably appointing Steve McClaren, Essien and Drogba will go to the African nations but they won't come back because they miss Mourinho too much, Portsmouth will also lose their best players to Africa they'll probably come home but with malaria or something, Everton and Man City will suddenly realise they are Everton and Man City and start playing like they are supposed to. All they factors will combine to ensure Martin O'Neil with the aid of a few transfer window signings guides the mighty Villans into third place in the table and the Champions League comes to Villa Park next season 8)
-
Re: The Premiership Football thread
United slipped last week... Can't blame us tho a couple of our key players have really been busy with the regular season & the Euro Cup. Bolton slipped one by us, no biggie.....
Who's next?
Fullham..... yawn!!! ^-^
United 3 - 1 Fullham.... 8)

Mick, without Ronaldo and Rooney,United are not that good a team at all. Take out Arsenal's 2 best players,Van Persie and Fab and we still win. ;) I'd LOVE to see United without Roo and Ron for a hile longer!

Hope United lose tonight! Is Ronaldo playing? If he's not not,and Rooney is injured,I predict, that they draw or lose.
