Hatton "forces" way into chest ,Weather's Sharp uppers And pop shot Rt.s.....Forget the head Fatton, alll shots body/arms etc. and has to make it UGLY.

Can I just ask katfight, what do you think Ricky Hatton brings to the table that Floyd hasn't encountered before? I just always hear you saying Ricky is gonna beat up on Floyd but never reason's why? (not having a pop, just want your reasons why) Also do you believe Ricky's resume is better than Floyd's? Floyd was a world champion within 2 years of turning pro and has been one ever since without losing. He has been fighting name's since the age of 21 years old. People always have a go at him for not unifying divisions but his goal clearly was to make history from the beginning. To become a multi-division champion was his goal and he achieved that. Who is anybody to argue that? If he unified every division from the beginning he'd be a lot older than 30 and he'd most probably have a loss for not being at his peak. Plus Ricky hasn't unified any division that he's been in. It's always Mayweather who gets the S*** from people because his bar is raised so so so much higher than everybody elses. Why? Because he is the best.
He's going to prove that again on December 8th and it will be one of his biggest victories because Ricky Hatton is actually fairly under rated by some people as well. What a match up.
Roll on December 8th..
Floyd hasnt beaten anyone decent above lightweight - there's your answer - Ricky is gonna knock the S*** out of Floyd mark my words
And these Hatton groupies wonder why they get no respect? This was stupidity at it's finest.
You back up your statement with nothing - pure hot air like Floyd. thinking an insult is a legitimate argument
Who has Floyd fought above lighweight?
Judah and Mitchell - both were knocked out by Tszyu in less than 3 rounds
Gatti was shot everyone knows it
De LaHoya is an old man promotor
Baldomir was a pondering lumberjack with no ring movement
What other names could he of faced ??

What has Hatton done other than beat a shot tszyu and double shot Castillo?
His next biggest win is probably Collazo, who nearly beat him.
Please do not even start to say that Hatton has achieved more than Floyd cos he hasnt. Not yet.
Tszyu wasnt shot - he said it himself after the fight he was in the best shape of his life and got beaten by the better man - his fight before was a demolition of Mitchell in 3, who Floyd took on after Tszyu had destroyed him
Castillo also - he was still young enough - he just got beaten by a better guy

Sorry but your just being hypocrite you say Mayweather beat an old Oscar ect but Tszyu was 35 and had a long lay off and had only fought 4 times in 3 years so i would say Tszyu was pretty much shot just as shot as Oscar was if not more shot.
Castillo looked like a shot fighter in his previous fight before Hatton fight its was clear that he wasn't same Castillo as 5 years ago i give Hatton credit for the way he stopped Castillo but to be honest Castillo had seen better days.

Oh yes he went the distance only problem is he was expected to beat Ngoudjo comfortably but it turns out he only just won a razor thin split decision and if you look on the forum and find topics about that fight you will see most people were calling Castillo a shot fighter after that fight.

Yeah people can claim anything they want, even if it is the majority of the forum. Past his best? No doubt..shot? Not really, I never even imagined Hatton would stop Castillo in four rounds.

Re: Mayweather Hatton faceoff!!
When was the last time Floyd fought someone undefeated, under 30, who wasnt used to the roll of opponent ?
Hatton will fight the whole fight, he knows how to throw shots to the body, he can be rough, hes young and hungry
Floyd is already trying to live off his name (record label, promotional company and tv shows) but that name aint big enough so he still has to take fights after his retirement.
Floyd has shown old legs against De La Hoya, he sat on the ropes alot in that fight.
If he does the same against Rick, its all over.
He is older now, he has to drop back down a weight, he is doing a tv show up until the fight and he will have to do promotions for that as well, his mind will not be on the job and that will be his down fall against the most dangerous opponent out there for him

When has Hatton ever faced a top flight fast prime p4p number1 fighter before? Never!
Old legs? He never tired a bit, just cos u sit on the ropes dont mean you are tired.
Older now? What half a year? Drop weight? 3 pounds he only weighed 15o against DLH.
Your arguments hold no weight.
Ok u like Hatton, u dont need to make up bogus arguments about how he'll beat PBF tho. Do your research before u make wild claims.

Re: Mayweather Hatton faceoff!!
The only thing that can derail ricky hatton is his inability to hit mayweather. If he can neutralize Mayweathers speed and lay hands on him then he will win. If not he will be swinging at air all night.

See I like posts like this..Giving reasons HOW and WHY Hatton can possibly win. I can respect that. Good post, one which I agree with for the most part but I don't think thats the ONLY thing that can derail Hatton. Remember Hatton is the underdog for a reason. Floyd has shown his versatility, he can adapt to anybodies style and come away with the victory. If he feels that boxing Ricky Hatton isn't working he'll switch up his tactics..get in close where he is almost untouchable and counter with short crisp punches which he is a master at.
We'll see though. CC for a smart, unbiased post!

Re: Mayweather Hatton faceoff!!
Ricky came off as quite funny....
You know Ricky is the reason I really got into watching Ricky. I had watched him coming up but the Magee and tackie fights really made me get into the whole sport of it. Ended up flying out to see him fight and all. Anyway, I think we all know that both of these fighters are really special.
We are going to find out how special in December.

Mayweather doesn't run, he is more like an expert matador who sidesteps or walks back to lead his prey in, then the ole' stick gets stuck. I've said it before, but people seem to forget Floyd is a small man who has moved to so many different weights that eventually he's not going to benefit from standing with much larger guys and trading with them. His hands aren't the strongest and so what sense does it make to bang all night with big guys??? If people can't see the brilliance of his pure boxing skills and ability to make bigger guys look somewhat awkward, then I don't know what to say. But Ricky is smaller than Floyd so don't be surprised to see the "runner" bang with Hatton. I would love to see Hatton win and yes he has a chance, but so did all the other guys that fought him, champions with better overall records than Rick's, that are bigger than Rick, and they couldn't do it. I fully expect to see Floyd destroy Hatton on the ropes, and the uppercut from Floyd will be the decisive punch to win this fight. Hatton has about as much chance of winning this fight as a cow winning in a slaughterhouse. I'd be happy if Rick can just go the distance without getting his face shredded. Floyd could move up to heavyweight and people would say he's scared to bang with Wlad, but he'd probably find a way to win anyways, just with BOXING, which is what this sport is called afterall.

Yes because you have certainly shown that you have seen alot of his fights when you keep saying he runs when he doesn't and you can't tell me why any of the fights i listed were boring and then not answering any of my questions earlier in the thread.

When to me i don't care where someone comes from if im not fan of his style then i can't force myself to like his style just because he comes from England but i still get called a traitor so there you go but i couldn't careless because we are all individuals and we all have different kinds of tastes so to them people who are calling me a traitor can stick it where the sun don't shine.

He has fought 3 times at Welterweight and only one that was boring was Baldomir fight Judah fight certainly wasn't boring neither was Mitchell fight Brucelee hasn't hardly watched any Mayweather fights and thats a fact you can tell by his lack of knowledge about his fights its obvisious when you go away above your natural weight you will have less power so that means less kos less action but still those fights wern't boring.

Re: Mayweather Hatton faceoff!!
Yea but i did not like his welter weight fights compared to light weight fights i mean wasn't he a feather weight when he started so welter is like 20 something pounds over what he started at and i think thats what make some for his fights to seem less then great but fuck what can you do

This is what I meant when I said Mayweather's fights are boring. I just don't like his style. Better, I like boxers who takes risks and give fans a show of true courage of toe to toe fighting.

Doesnt take risks? PBF has gone up 24 pounds in weight since he started. If he didnt want to take risks he could have just stayed at 130 and 135 and been the best super feather/lightweight maybe ever. If he had done that his fights would be more exciting cos he could stand toe to toe with anyone 135 and under and still beat them.
