I think the meantime might be the rest of time. Or at least the forseeable future. Singletary has been the company man since joining the 9ers. Last year he was given the title as the coach of the defense. Not defensive coordinator but the 9ers have 2 levels in their locker room, the upstairs is defense and the bottom offense and Singletary has been rallying the troops at halftime upstairs and last year everyone was worried that if Nolan sticks around then Singletary will leave if he doesn't get Jason Garrett money. Guaranteed if the 9ers live up to some of their potential, Singletary will be there for a while, he'll be their guy.
They've had a chance late in games to win every game they've played this year, I'm a Nolan/Smith apoligist but you can't just keep finding new ways to lose and have nothing happen.
Boy the patriots really put it on the broncos.

Jay Cutlers is a pretty decent QB but he can't do it all on his own. I'm looking forward to the Bills vs Pats game I wish Brady was playing though.

i think cassel is turning out pretty good, i can tell hes been watching some of last year brady games. the only thing is, that i dont think he can handle the pressure yet, hell i dont even think Tony Homo can handle it but thats another story;D i cant wait til hes up against a defensive team like the ravens or bucs so i can see how he handles it.Quote:

If you've watched the team for 4 years then it's a lot less ridiculous. Nolan was a fine coach who rebuilt us from absolute trash behind the cap to a franchise with actual expectations which is a HUGE deal. We've been knowing this was a creeper team for 3 years now with a ton of talent and that was done by Nolan and not with all high draft picks either. Brought in vets like Walt Harris and went with Frank Gore over Kevan Barlow and now we have a ton of talent in the secondary, in the linebacking core, in the backfield and now it just needs to get over the talent and bear down.
