Wacko's Drunken Round By Round Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Zab Judah

sure, notice Judah didn't "touch gloves hard" this time ;) After 4 rounds Ouma what was your thought, even the 5th where Judah was talking to Floyd and hitting him, or was that the 3rd?

I thought he did well the first three rounds, better than I thought he would, and credit to him for that. He seemed confident.

But after the fourth honestly I thought he lost confidence and basically just tried to survive the 12 by jabbing and moving. Not trying to be a prick, that's just the way I saw it. Maybe I just dislike Judah, but I thought he gave up a bit.

basically his mistake was rushing Floyd when he had him stunned he should have taken a step back and let floyd come to him like he had been, I think he kind of spent himself going afterh im after getting him.

As always... another great RBR wacko and a great night of fights. That was some crazy a$$ $hit. Another :coolclick: for ya bro, just for tha werk ;)

You know, I hate Richard Steele. I think he wants to be a part of history. Like he wants to be more than just another ref. The reason I think that, is because I think he helps certain fighters.

Like the stoppage Mayweather had on Sharmba Mitchell, after Sharmba gets up from a body shot! Sharmba easily got up for the eight count, and Richard calls it. Sharmba took a knee from a body shot! Not a comatose head shot.

Anyways, I think he helps Floyd. And I guess I'm a sore loser, to say that Richard purposely didn't see that knockdown.

I don't know man, looks pretty intentional to me, especially considering Zab was getting pretty well owned at that time and well he was flat out eyeballing PBF's nuts when he threw the shot

Ok guys if you gonna be fair then be fair ok. I dont like judah but for some reason hes getting crucified for a intentional low blow where as when hatton did it to KT some praised him. Hattons looks to be heaps heaps more intentional then judahs although judahs does look intentional.

Great job on the round by round Wacko. I missed a lot of it due to the heavy traffic the site was getting, but still, I got it from round 10.
It went pretty much as I predicted (except I predicted Floyd would stop him late on). Competitive early on with Judah the aggressor and then Floyd gradually adapting to the southpaw style and making the fight more and more one sided. I always thought that stylewise, Zab would prove to be Mayweather's most challenging opponent around these weights but that once Floyd did figure him out, Zab would not have the mentality to cope.

Round 2 should have been 10-8,Floyd was kocked down and was jUdah more popular than Floyd?!?

he still should have been DQ'd (and suspended from boxing) for the intentional punch to the back of the head. that was far worse than the low blow--could have caused SERIOIUS PERMANENT INJURY--and was UNQUESTIONABLY INTENTIONAL.

it's irrelevant what roger did, since zab should have already been dq'd at that point. you know, for what rjj and many other fighters have been dq'd for--actually endangering someone's life with a cheap-shot to the back of the head (and without "pillow gloves," i might add). even if that doesn't get him dq'd, though, roger certainly doesn't get floyd dq'd, since time had already been called following zab's cheap shots--thus, no "entering the ring during the action" violation. this is a total red herring anyway--you and i and everyone else knows that the only effect of roger's behavior on the fight was that it shook floyd somewhat for the beginning of R11. zab having a 50 year old man come after him can't explain why he lost most of the rounds preceding that and had already lost the fight on points by the time it happened. maybe you should go back to your excuse that floyd's soft gloves somehow caused zab to lose the fight (despite the fact that his chin would have crumbled with any other gloves).

Fact is, Floyd was whipping his a**, regardless of gloves or any other excuse. Floyd did get knocked down, and should have been DQd. But, that doesn't change the fact that he was whipping Zab's a**! He will beat him even worse if they rematch.

That's ludacris Sal.Zab lost due to not being as smart, or determined as Floyd. Not gloves. Are you saying that Pac lost the 1st Morrales fight because of Morrales' gloves? Gloves don't hide getting beat.

I think that had to do with Morales not giving a damn whether he was getting hit or not ;D But ultimately that shortened his career :(

There is always going to be a winner, and a loser. Floyd won. People can say what they want, but Zab could have wore the same gloves. Zab didn't have a problem landing until Floyd timed him.

I honestly can't see why gloves would be an excuse for a loss, when you got beat decisively.
